My Thoughts

The upcoming new year has me thinking about my health as I get older. I know I need to exercise more, eat healthier and in general just take care of me. One of the things I have been doing and vow to do more of is walking. My knees can’t handle running at this point so I want to focus on doing what I can to be more active. That is where the Fitbit Zip comes in. The ease of use of this device makes things so much easier to me than opening  up and app (although this device works well with certain apps) and pressing start and making sure timer does actually start (you don’t know how many times I have used an app to start a walk, it looks like it starts and then when I am finished I go to turn it off only to find out it wasn’t actually working the whole time). I love that the Zip is touch and instantly at a glance I can see how many steps I have taken, how many calories I have burned and how far I have gone. I love that I can then sync everything to my computer and have a visual right in front of me that helps me see where I need more help and has the ability to connect me to other who are enjoying their Fitbit products. I love my new Fitbit Zip and I highly recommend getting one for the fitness fans on your holiday gift list.
