About

Hello. I am Jennifer, the publisher of The Dirty t Shirt. I am married with three children, in the core age ranges of toddlers and teens. I had home schooled my son (who has since graduated from high school) and my older daughter (who will be starting 8th grade this month), with the help of Florida Virtual Academy.

Blogging was something I began five years ago, to keep my family updated on my children’s’ activities. It quickly became my passion and is now my business. I have participated in hundreds of campaigns and have relationships with over 30 brands for brand ambassadorships. I love writing product reviews because they provide an in depth view of some products that I never knew existed, so, in turn I am able to bring the results of my research to my readers. I post giveaways on my site, and often, receive products for my review (unless I state that I have already purchased the product myself). I make sure that when I am compensated for a post, I always fully disclose the compensation to my readers, because I desire to be viewed as an upstanding and honest person.

Over the past three years, I have had the honor of meeting and working with some amazing companies, both large and small. As a Brand Ambassador for Fridgidaire, Chevy, The View, The Family Dish, Wisk, Hebrew National and others, I have come to understand how blogging and brands can work together to get full exposure and I have loved meeting everyone involved. In 2009, I was named to the Nielsen Power 50 Moms in Digital Media. In 2010, the ABIE 50 Most Influential Mom Bloggers list, and this year, Cision Top 50 Product Review Blogs. I now understand more about digital media, social media and the human touch involved in the total process.

I have been invited to the company headquarters of General Mills, TJ Maxx & Marshalls, Smuckers and Bosch as well as many others to learn more about their products, and how as a mom I can save time and money. I also had the wonderful opportunity to discover how these great companies are managed and how family oriented each of them are, something that warms my heart.

I am the current Ambassador for Microsoft Windows Champion, Hanes Comfort Crew and Pampers Baby Board. Through these companies, I have been able to help donate clothes, diapers and even give away computers to those in need. Past conference sponsorships include Out of the Blue Delivered, CommXperts, Bounce and Pampers.

Many of my reviews have been published in the Chicago Sun Times, which is a huge honor for me. I have been interviewed on the Fox 35 local news, as well as seen on ABC News because of my roll as a mommy blogger. Recently, I was in a local commercial for Chevy and Girlfriend On The Go campaign. I have been truly blessed in this adventure and am eager to see what each new day will bring. I have my readers and the companies that have been so generous to me, to thank for that!

Social Media plays a very big role in my day to day activities and you can find me on Facebook, LinkedIn and Twitter, and among the many communities that I am part of. I will continue to be a strong voice for moms, as well as a prominent Orlando/Central Florida blogger, doing hotel, travel, food and wine reviews.
