About

Photobucket

Hi, I am Jennifer, and I am the Publisher of The Dirty t Shirt. I am married with three children in each of the core age ranges, toddler, tween and a teenager. I homeschool the two older children, who are in the 7th and 12th grades, with the help of Florida Virtual Academy.

Blogging was something I began to keep my family updated on my children’s activities. It quickly became my passion, and now my business. I love doing product reviews because they provide a closer look at some products that I never even knew existed and in turn can bring the results of my research to my readers. I post giveaways on my site, and receive products for my reviews, unless I state that I purchased the product myself. I make sure that when I get compensated for a post that I fully disclose it to my readers, I believe in full disclosure and want to be viewed as an upstanding, honest person.

Over the past three years I have had the honor of meeting and working with some amazing companies, both large and small. Throughout being a Brand Ambassador for Frigidaire, Chevy, The View, The Family Dish, Wisk, Hebrew National and more, I have learned how blogging and brands can work together to get full exposure and I have loved meeting everyone involved in that process. Humbled by being named to the Nielsen Power 50 Moms in Digital Media and recently the ABIE 50 Most Influential Mom Bloggers lists, I have grown to learn more about digital media, social media and the human touch that goes into it all.

I have been invited to the company headquarters of General Mills, TJ Maxx & Marshalls, Smuckers and Bosch to learn more about their products and how as a mom I can save money and time, and that is so helpful. I also had the wonderful opportunity to learn more about what makes these great companies run, and how family oriented each of them were, something that warms my heart.

I have attended a few conferences to learn and connect and I feel so very lucky for all that I have accomplished and all the knowledge I have gained over the last three years.

Many of my reviews have been picked up by the Chicago Sun Times, which is a huge honor for me. And I have been on the local news for an interview for Fox 35 because of  my role as a mommy blogger, as well as was on a local commercial for Chevy and the Girlfriend On The Go campaign. I have truly been blessed in this adventure and can’t wait to see what each new day brings. I have my readers and the companies that have been so generous to me to thank for that.

Social Media plays a very large role in my day to day activities, you can find me on Facebook, LinkedIn, and Twitter,  and among the many communities that I am a part of.
