We love to go to one of our main parks in the area. It also has an aviary to enjoy!
We walk about a mile down the road to our park and love to picnic there!

oh theres so many around the mountains here, but I guess my best picked place would be in the state paaaaaaark here in the mountains called Paint Creek, the whole park follows a natural creek that has picnic tables & grills along it and 4 seperate natural swimming holes that have waterfalls and you can swim in the deep pools of water below the falls, just beautiful & always 10 degrees differance in the weather temp in the mountains. We see wild deers bears and turkeys while there, really peaceful

I like to picnic while hiking, preferably a hike to a waterfall…. which I’m hoping to do with my daughter this summer. Sometimes though, it’s not feasible. I mean, she’s 9 and we haven’t done it yet with her.

My favorite spot is in Shawnee National Forest, off of Hayes Canyon Campground. My husband and I were “hitched” standing next to a hitching post there, with only our dogs, our horses, and the preacher as witnesses. When the pastor got to the part about “if anyone has any objections” my husband’s mare raised her head and whinnied. She always was a “daddy’s girl”!!!!

There are beautiful areas to picnic near the covered bridges in Winterset Iowa, like in the movie Bridges of Madison County. Yep, those are them.

Our family picnics nearly every weekend in the summer. We love going to the beach, hiking, or even right in our own town parks.

My family loves to picnic at Admiral Baker in San Diego, CA. there is a wonderful pool with a kid’s pool and a great water slide, which is just one of many thing’s to do they have a lot of play equipment, baseball field’s, and Picnic table’s with bbq’s and grass area galore they have a great campground area.
We have so much fun when we go there, All work’s great to get chlorine, grass stains, and pollen out in just one wash.

We have several favorite spots to go to now thanks to geocaching but one of my favorites is a place is called “Little Wilson” . It has a nice spot right at the head of the falls.
