Baby Signs Potty Training Program Review And Giveaway

A Revolutionary Approach to Potty Training Before Age 2!
Myth: It’s easier and healthier to potty train your baby if you wait until she’s ready – typically around age 2 or 3.
Fact: The truth is, potty training a baby under the age of 24 months is actually easier than potty training an older child. Why? Because as children get older, they want to make more and more decisions on their own. This natural progression towards independence is healthy, but it also often sets the stage for a battle of wills when it comes to potty training.
Fact: Babies will potty train at the age parents expect them to train. Historical and cross-cultural practices clearly demonstrate that babies can train as early as 5 months. Training a baby that young is indeed possible, but very time-intensive. Because of the time commitment required, this approach is not practical for most parents. The Baby Signs® Potty Training Program, however, provides a compelling alternative to very early or very late potty training. By helping babies learn simple potty-time signs, the Baby Signs® Potty Training Program makes it easy for parents to both begin and end the whole enterprise before age 2.
When we first got the kit I read through the book, which gives great tips and advice on the potty training process. Through the book I have established a Potty Training Process where my toddler goes into the bathroom, tries to go, wipes and then washes her hands. She has the whole system down she just needs to actually go. But from tips in the book, the cute book and DVD All Aboard the Potty Train are very helpful and she loves the train whistle. I think with a bit more practice and regular trips to the bathroom she will have this down in no time.
Baby Signs Potty Training Kits include:
- A Parent’s Guide to Potty Training Made Easy with the Baby Signs® Program – This straightforward parent guide from trusted child development experts will help you confidently lead your baby to potty success.
- All Aboard the Potty Train DVD – With its catchy tunes, delightful animation and Baby Signs® Kids, this exciting DVD will teach your baby five potty-time signs and reinforce each step of the potty routine. To view a clip of this DVD please click here.
- All Aboard the Potty Train Lift-the-Flap Book – Your baby will love discovering the potty-time signs hidden under each flap in this fun and interactive board book featuring the DiaperDoodles™.
- Job Well Done! Stickers – These colorful reward stickers feature fun images and positive messages such as “Good Job!”, “I’m on the Potty Train!”
- All Aboard the Potty Train Conductor’s Whistle – Whether to signal it’s time to go potty or to “sound the trumpet of success,” this fun-to-blow whistle will put a smile on your baby’s face when it’s potty time.
Great news! If you are looking to start your potty training adventure or are stuck in a rut with it the great people over at Baby Signs have offered me a Baby Signs Potty Training Kit to giveaway to one of my readers.

My daughter is 9 months old and I thought I had years before I thought about potty training… I guess I CAN start thinking about it now. It would be awesome to get her trained early.
The only thing is that she’s already got a mind of her own… lol. Don’t know if it would work, but it would be worth a try!

I am at a sticking point in potty training with my 2 year old son, Brody. Initially he was very excited about potty training and would run to his potty and execute the steps (with his diaper on), squeal with glee and exclaim “Iddiddit! Pee! And we would make a big clap-happy deal about him going on the potty.
Now he won’t go anywhere near the potty.

I am a daycare provider who is right now in the process of potty training “4″ kids!! FUN FUN FUN!!! 2 are 2 years old, 1 is 1 month shy of 2, and 1 is 1 1/2 who loves using the potty!! So this would be a great thing for the kids and hopefully I could get some pointers to share with their parents as well!
Thanks for the chance!!

Having twins makes toilet training double trouble. We will be starting the process this summer! The twins are already using the baby signs in their daily lives. They sign “dog” the most…probably because we have one! I hope the potty training signs help out the task!
This would be for my son. I am just starting to think about potty training him

This would be for my son and we would just be starting potty training.
This would be for my son and DIL and their last little one who is in diapers. I know that potty training three before her should help but this is a different child with a mind of her own LOL. They have tried it a couple of times and she does well then regresses. I think this would bring new ideas to them.
Thanks!

I am in the process of potty training our 2 year old. It’s more an initiative on our part so far, but it would be nice to have him completely trained before our second child arrives in October.

We are past the potty training stage here, I would give this to my friend with twins.
This would be for my baby girl. We did a little bit of elimination communication or infant potty training when she was younger but we stopped. We want to start again and this would be grest!

This would be great for me to use with my daughter, she is 2 and a half and I think finally ready to start with potty training! We tried around 2 and she wasn’t ready but she is showing signs of readiness! Yeah!

This would be for my husband to use with my son. He is a stay-at-home dad is wants to get our little one potty trained as soon as he can. This kit would help get him on his way!
My husband and I are interested in beginning potty training with our18 1/2 month old son. He is starting to show the signs of readiness and we are excited to get him started.
You definitely need a lot of patients when it comes to baby potty training. Using potty chairs helped me a lot to get my kids used to the potty. I agree that it helps to wait till they are ready, however any day without diapers can save a lot of money.
