Beauty Is Everywhere

Today is such a beautiful day here. I wasn’t in the best of moods but the cloudless sky, cooler air, slight breeze and mega sunshine has livened my mood tremendously. What I want you to do is stop, take a look around you and see that beauty is all around you. Better yet, look in a mirror and see what beauty looks back at you.
With that in mind, have you taken a look at the Beauty Tips in the widget on my sidebar? It is full of beauty tips for you to enjoy from amazing companies, some of which have been a staple in my household for years and years like, Vaseline, Pond’s, Dove and Q-tips. Below you will find a few of my favorite great tips that have been on the widget the last few weeks.
- Lovelier Lashes – Treat eyelashes with a dab of Vaseline Petroleum Jelly every day. It conditions while giving lashes an attractive gleam, and makes the tips of the lashes look darker.
- Fresh Face – Trying to fit in that evening workout class and short on time? Throw a pack of Pond’s Wet Cleansing Towelettes in your purse to help remove make-up before your workout and wipe off sweat afterward. Their oil-and dirt-trapping fibers work like a magnet to remove dirt and oil, removing up to 40 percent more make-up than other leading towelettes, even waterproof mascara. Your skin will stay looking fresh while on the go.
- Keep frizz to a minimum – Blow dry hair outside of the bathroom. Steam from the shower creates humidity, which leads to frizz. If you have flyaway hair strands, use an extra toothbrush to tame them. Dab Dove Frizz Control Therapy Taming Cream on the brush and smooth through problem areas.

I don’t really have a beauty tip, I just try to go as natural as possible. I do try not to over wash my hair though, and stick to just 2-3 times a week. Maybe that counts.

Here are some more uses for Vaseline Petroleum Jelly – I love this stuff! It is such a bargain!
- Smooth a little on unruly eye brows to tame them.
- Smooth on to sooth chapped lips.
- Use daily instead of lip gloss
- Use to soften hands, elbows, and feet. Coat feet before bed and then pull on a pair of plain cotton white socks. Wake up to soft and smoother feet!
-Also softens cuticles.

My beauty tip…wash your face EVERY night before bed no mattter how tired you are! And use pure Vasoline jelly for chapped lips!

I use baby oil to remove my eye makeup! It is much cheaper than eye makeup, and it leaves my eyes soft and smooth!

Actually it would be to take all your makeup off at night and wash your face and moisturize. It really makes a difference to be passionate about that.

Keep it simple – moisturize your skin, protect it from the sun and keep it clean. The less makeup I wear, the better condition my face is. Or maybe its simply that when I do wear complete makeup, I’m careful to remove it when I get home rather than waiting until bedtime.

One of the best beauty tips to use is your own mind. If you tell yourself you are beautiful, then you are. You will approach the others with more shine and glow.

My beauty tip is to always wear sunscreen on my face. I burn easy (its the irish in me) . Even on cloudy days it is important to use sunscreen! I also don’t smoke. Ever since i was little i could always tell a smoker because their skin usually looked looser and more wrinkly then non-smokers
