What inspired you to make this product?
My name is Rani and I live in Jerusalem, my personalized name necklaces that shown here are part of decade’s of silversmith creation. My dad family start to make hand made silverware during the 60’ and as all good thing’s I’m continuing in the silversmith field and it’s our main family business these days. To make personal name’s jewelry is something that let me to appreciate each name and its beauty, I really believe that personal name is meaningful and much way beyond just a name and more like destiny. For that reasons my work gives me the opportunity to share with you something personal and customized just for you. What are your favorite materials to use?
My favorite materials to use are silver and gold. Both metals are ductile and malleable and can take a high degree of polish that shows their beauty. Silver is so useful for me and gives me unlimited options of creation and usage such as silverware, hollowware, cutlery, jewelry, masterpiece and much more. I also like the inspiration of working with silver, and it’s deriving from my strong attraction to antique silverware stuff that combining great details and grand master works. I believe that great silverware product begins with high level of hand made sculpture craft.

Where do you live and how does that influence your art?
I born and live in Jerusalem/Israel for more than 32 years, and this location is really important element that reflect in my art creation. Here in Jerusalem we design and produce many Judaica items and Israeli symbolic items such as western wall design, Jerusalem city view, Star of David, Kiddush cups, Candle holders and many others. In Our Etsy&eBay stores you can find name necklaces design in Hebrew styling and this is a great opportunity for anyone who wonders how his name will be look like in Hebrew.
