Beware Of The Virtual Girlfriend

So, yesterday something happened that shocked me. Not so much in the fact that it happened but it really made me stop to think about how far technology has come. And it taught me a lesson, don’t run through the house in your bra ranting how much time you have wasted looking for a warm shirt.
Why??? You may ask. Because my son’s girlfriend was in the house without being “in” the house. See my kids were playing a card game at the table and I was changing in my room. I couldn’t find my favorite long sleeve shirt and I heard my son go into his room so I took that opportunity to run through the house to the dryer to see if it was in there. The whole time ranting about why things can’t be easy and my shirt be where it is supposed to be. My daughter kept saying “Mom” but I didn’t stop, no, I had to stop right at the table and put it on (it was in the dryer) and finally I looked at my daughter and asked what she wanted, she says “To let you know M is here.” “No she isn’t, Josh hasn’t left to get her yet.”, I say. And then I hear a “Hi, Mrs. Leet” coming from the table, more precisely coming from my son’s computer. And there is where M sat talking to the kids playing cards. I was so embarrassed, but it was funny.Chalk up another thing I have done to embarrass my teen…

Not as bad as the time hubs walked out in his under err… garments when my daughter’s friend had stopped by for an early morning visit. He too was on his way to the dryer….

Tis amazing about technology huh.
However it’s not so embarrassing as passing by a live webcam!
You’re good for now.

Sorry Jen, that’s funny!
Once I was making my way across the house in underwear thinking everyone was asleep. I was mistaken. No webcam involved though!
Lol! Too funny!
What a funny story! Was your son embarrassed?
OMG I would be so mortified! But, of course, I would still have to laugh about it later.
