Big Day Chains | Review

Big Day Chains founder Kristin Adams Litke has been making paper chains since the day she was given her first pair of round-tip scissors.
Over the years, so great was her desire to create the next-big-chain, the designs kept coming—progressing from the simple to the custom as she helped friends celebrate occasions big and small.
And so it came to be that Kristin (now a grown-up graphic designer and the force behind Adams Litke Design in Seattle, Washington) would make the chain available to all. Or—as Kristin likes to say—”if there’s a way to make fun, I’m there.”
I was recently offered the opportunity to try out a product that is very interesting to me, and one that brought back memories of my childhood making paper chains to countdown Christmas and chains for decorations. I received the Days ’til Birthday chain and I am super excited to use it on my daughter’s next birthday.
When you’re a kid, it seems like FOREVER until your birthday comes. Days ‘Til Birthday makes it all bearable. Each kit features:
- Non-toxic adhesive dots for easy assembly with no mess
- Thirty high-quality, full color, perforated paper links
- One side for kids to color—one side, printed designs
- “Birthday chain card” to record special memories
These are wonderful gifts to get for: kids, brides-to-be and moms-to be because they offer such a unique way to countdown the days until their big day! I recommend them to everyone. They can be found at BigDayChains.com for $14.95.
