Harry Potter Kids

In BIOGRAPHY: HARRY POTTER KIDS, go behind the scenes to find out how director Chris Columbus conducted one of the greatest talent searches in movie history to successfully fill the principle roles of Harry Potter and his two best friends in the inaugural film, Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone (2001). When they were first cast, young British actors Daniel Radcliffe, Emma Watson, and Rupert Grint were virtually unknown. Today, they are some of the most recognizable faces across the globe.

Featuring clips from the films and interviews with J. K. Rowling and Daniel Radcliffe, BIOGRAPHY® presents an in-depth profile of the young actors who helped make Harry Potter the multimillion dollar juggernaut it is today.

I am such a huge fan of the Harry Potter series and this DVD biography was the perfect way for me to learn how the casting all came down. I will have to say they got the casting perfect, Daniel Radcliffe is the perfect Harry Potter and looks exactly how I imagined him in my mind as I was reading. The same goes for Emma Watson and Rupert Grint. Simply perfect casting.

This DVD takes an in-depth look at the casting process and gives a little background on each actor. I even used this DVD in my homeschool setting with my tween and had her watch it for a biography report on Daniel Radcliffe. After watching it she was very interested in finishing up the series. I recommend this DVD to all those Harry Potter fans out there for a different look at the stars of the Harry Potter series. And for all those that haven’t read the books yet I think this biography will make you want to read them.
