My first memory of Patrick Swayze was from Dirty Dancing, that is the time when I was an impressionable teen and I, like millions of other girl thought he was a gorgeous hunk of man! I can dream right! Listening to all his pain and what he has been going through these past 2 years with his illness just utterly broke my heart. Last night as I was putting the baby (okay she’s 2 but still my baby) down when my iPod went nuts with a breaking news alert. When I read it my heart sank.
That’s when I looked over at my baby and heard the words, “Nobody puts Baby in a corner”, in my head. Gosh I just loved that movie and it was because of him! Very sad news!
Patrick you were a great actor and a great person. You will be sorely missed by your family and your fans. Your life was cut short much too soon. May you rest in peace.

People are getting out of control with the way they are treating others! My daughter looked up to Serena as a tennis player but she sees her in a total different light now, anyone who could be that rude, mean and disrespectful doesn’t deserve my daughter looking up to them! And Kanye’s always been an ass and always will be an ass. Totally unbelievable what he did to Taylor Swift at the VMAs, congrats to Taylor and Beyoncé for having the class they both did. Me personally, my foot would have gone up his behind!
I wish everyone would take a step back and remember how we, as a country bonded after 9-11, there was no name calling, no one wanting to take center stage and make it seem like they were more important then anyone else. We were UNITED! I think people forget that, and it really is sad.
