That’s when I looked over at my baby and heard the words, “Nobody puts Baby in a corner”, in my head. Gosh I just loved that movie and it was because of him! Very sad news!

Patrick you were a great actor and a great person. You will be sorely missed by your family and your fans. Your life was cut short much too soon. May you rest in peace.

I wish everyone would take a step back and remember how we, as a country bonded after 9-11, there was no name calling, no one wanting to take center stage and make it seem like they were more important then anyone else. We were UNITED! I think people forget that, and it really is sad.

SNAP OUT OF IT PEOPLE!!!!!!!!

Well it finally happened, I now have a licensed 16 year old! I am so proud of him and glad he passed on his first try, although I wouldn’t have been upset had he not

We are having a BBQ for Labor Day and my younger sis and her boyfriend and his brother will be coming and it will be nice to catch up with her. I actually think I have seen her more this year than in all the years past and its great!

Ashton will be starting her 5th grade year on Tuesday and I am excited about her curriculum. Lots of interesting things to be learned.

Abby is, well Abby. She continues to push me to my limits everyday, but she is such a sweetie. But her and the puppy will continue to wreak havoc on me. Speaking of the puppy, we are in a debate at the moment on weather we should breed her once to get that experience for the kids, but we keep going back and forth on it. Guess more research is needed.

Rob is always busy with work and we are both looking forward to a much needed break, alone with just the two of us for the Epcot Food & Wine Festival at the end of September for my birthday! Two years, that’s how long it has been since we got a long quiet time together. Much needed indeed!

But before that I will be taking Big A to her first concert to see Mitchell Musso at The House of Blues, she is so excited and can’t wait. It will be fun to experience that with her.

Everyone have a happy and safe Labor Day and relax and enjoy the day off….I know I will!

So, last night was a very bad night for me, I couldn’t sleep worth anything. See today my baby, not the youngest, my 16 almost 17 year old son is getting his drivers license. How can that be? My baby, not a baby anymore?!? I figured out, with the help of my hubby, that it is a control issue. Today, not only do I feel old, but my grasp on controlling his safety is now slipping out of my hands. I HATE THAT!!!!!

Did you see that? Life snuck up on me and slapped me!

Then on the other hand I have a two year old that is making me nuts! No, seriously, she is pushing me to my limits! She is going through the terrible twos with such an attitude (I honestly don’t know where she gets that from ) and is turning every last hair I have grey!

So put those two together, my babies at opposite ends of the spectrum, and I am going mad! LOL

I so love them and the letting go hurts as does the attitude and tantrums the little one is throwing. Calgon…take me away…Is that even around anymore…hmm…I may need to look into that for my review blog! If not, Richard Marx take me away!!!

Did I just say that out loud?

Tomorrow I leave for an overnight visit to Minneapolis to go to the General Mills Eat & Greet and then as soon as I get back I am hosting a Wizards of Waverly Place Pizza Party for my daughter and her friends. All this and I have to try to find a place to move to within 4 weeks. WHEW!

But its all fun! I don’t know what I would do if I wasn’t so busy!  Sleep maybe?!?

The kids are doing great! Josh is starting his next year in FLVS (online school) and Ashton will be starting 5th grade on September 5th. I am excited about this as I have added a lot of projects to her curriculum this year and hope to share some of them with the family here on the blog.

Abby, well Abby is definitely in the Terrible Two’s. It’s been awhile since one of my children has throw a fit in the middle of a store, thankfully that hasn’t happened yet but the fear of it happening strikes me every time I enter a store lol. Boy can she use her voice. She has this one ear piercing scream that I swear will break the windows one day. Did I mention that I am going on a trip tomorrow? I am looking forward to it and I will run to that plane instead of being afraid of it

It will be a nice break, but I will still miss the kids.

A brief synopsis of the shows foundation:

And once that case is solved, he and Beckett build on their new relationship as they look to solve more strange homicides in New York – as much fun as one can have with death and murder.

Castle is kept grounded by his Broadway diva mother, Martha Rodgers (Susan Sullivan), and quick-witted teenage daughter Alexis (Molly Quinn). Also starring in the series are Ruben Santiago-Hudson as NYPD Captain Roy Montgomery, Tamala Jones as Medical Examiner Lanie Parish, Jon Huertas as NYPD Detective Javier Esposito and Seamus Dever as NYPD Detective Kevin Ryan.

And that my friends is what got me hooked! This show is such an all around complete show. It is serious, yet filled with comedy that has me cracking up. I LOVE Richard Castle and his characters behavior. It also has those moments where I gasp in shock or jump because something happens that I wasn’t expecting. It really has it all!

And not only do I love the two main characters but the supporting cast is one of the best I have seen in a long time. I love Castle’s mother, and his daughter is wonderful and adds so much to the stories in a small amount of time. I love knowing that he is a dad as well as a great writer. And as for the supporting cast on Kate Beckett’s side, well… they rock!!!! The two detectives that work with her are so funny with their one liners and really do an amazing job rounding out this cast!

I HIGHLY recommend seeing this show, once you do you WILL be hooked!!

oh yeah, and Nathan Fillion is gorgeous too

I am at one of those crossroads, I am so happy that she is going on day 5 with no binkie, and not only that, but she isn’t even asking for it. But she is my last baby, and I hate to see all her baby things go away, even though I know that is what is best, it is still hard to take. If I could I would keep having babies for as long as I could, but sadly I am done. And it is breaking my heart.

What is even more mind boggling is the fact that I am being hit with a double whammy. Not only is my youngest growing up way too fast but so is my oldest, who at 16 wants to be treated like an adult, even though he doesn’t always act like one. He gets his regular license in a few weeks and he is ready to go. This all leaves me feeling older and sometimes very sad.

I really hope they realize what they are doing to me lol

Just a fyi, instead of stopping her Rob ran in to get the Vado and she was full of chatter when he got back to her. And as a side note about the weird things kids do, Josh at 16 stood on a computer chair and started to spin around and around. Guess what happened? He fell and landed hard on his arm and thought for awhile that he broke it.

And he wants to ask us for our car keys………LMAO………..NOT!!!!!!!!

I arrived in Boston after a good flight and promptly got a cab to the hotel (after getting lost in Logan airport because I wasn’t paying attention). The cab driver scared me more than the flight did as he hit about 75-80 in the tunnels of Boston. When I finally saw the hotel I was so relieved to be out of that cab!

The hotel, the Fairmont at Copley Plaza, was absolutely stunning. I have never been to Boston before and certainly have never seen a hotel like this one. It was breathtaking. I spent some time after check in getting coffee at the nearby Starbucks and taking pictures of the gorgeous buildings around me.

The TJ Maxx – Marshalls Event was wonderful, the PR team, the people who worked at TJX and all the bloggers were absolutely wonderful!!!! That being my first event as a blogger has really set my standards high for future ones, as they really gave us a good time. I even won a pair of Coach high heels playing the Off-Price Is Right game.

After the amazing shopping excursion we all got we boarded the shuttle for the airport. I started feeling like I was coming down with something. By the time I got to my gate I had a fever and couldn’t breath my nose was all stuffed up. I had to buy cold medicine and Kleenex, all the other passengers waiting for the flight were looking at me like “Oh great I don’t want to sit next to her!”

I also saw Donald Sutherland in the airport and of course my camera was at the bottom of my stuffed to the max bag so no photos My flight was delayed twice and I didn’t get home until 1:2o am. Hubby made me soup and I promptly passed out only to wake up at 4 am not being able to breath again. UGH!

So that leaves me at today, I think the kids saved up all their bad behavior for me today. I am still sick and just really not in the mood. Here are just a few of the things they threw at me this morning and afternoon:

• Little A filled her pull up and before I could get my hands on her to change her she started to be chased by the puppy, who got a hold of her rear end and pulled her pull up DOWN and Little A was dropping what was inside all around the house. Great mess to clean up.
• Had two arguments with Josh…damn teen years
• Little A walked up to me and wiped her Dorito dusted hands on my brand new pants! UGH!
• That wasn’t enough, nope next she came up right beside my chair with a BBQ sauce container from McDonald’s that she got a hold of and proceeded to squeeze it so hard that it popped open, spewing sauce over everything.
• Big A gave Little A ice cream without letting me know, then went to her room. After about 5 minutes of Little A and the puppy being quiet I thought something was up. The dog then came around the corner covered from head to toe in ice cream…..(can I please get a break)

And that is just the best that has happened. Hoping my day calms down so I can take some medicine and get knocked out. I feel like I have been beat up and…
