Blue Stone is an American electronic-pop musical project formed by producer/programmer Robert Smith and producer/multi-instrumentalist Bill Walters. Word of mouth anticipation and industry buzz foreshadowed the success of Breathe, the debut album for the pair on Neurodisc Records. In January 2007, Blue Stone released their second album, Worlds Apart, also on Neurodisc, to similar acclaim. To date, Blue Stone has been a staple on iTunes Store’s Electronic Album Chart Top 100 and has received positive feedback around the country.
The team of Robert Smith (the driving force behind world renowned chillout artist Bella Sonus) and Bill Walters draws upon a wide range of influences to create the ethereal sound of Blue Stone. Musical interests from Pink Floyd, Jan Hammer, and William Orbit to Delerium, BT, and Afro Celt Sound System helped establish their collaborative efforts and invigorate fresh ideas. For Breathe, their first effort together, they designed a lush, cinematic blend of electronic, acoustic, orchestral and ethnic textures, layered with the soaring soprano vocals by the alluring & classically trained Darcy. Blue Stone’s sound is an evolving blend of hypnotic electronica music, performed and recorded with emphasis on a human element. Live percussion, live piano, live chanting, and Darcy’s vocals breathe life into Blue Stone, allowing each song to ebb and flow naturally.
I have been introduced to an amazing group with amazing music. If you are a fan of Sarah McLachlan, Enya and Sarah Brightman, and I will even go out there and say Enigma you will be a fan of Blue Stone. They are a Florida based group and they will be releasing their new album, Messages, on July 28th. The collection’s first single, the soothing yet pulsating “Wait for the Sun,” will also be released shortly. I could spend many hours listening to their soft, soothing, powerful music and I am so happy to have heard about them as I will be happily going to iTunes to purchase their music!
You just have to hear them! Go here and listen to a few of the cuts from their album, you will love it! And if you like what you hear you can pre-order their new album at Barnes & Noble.

Nice tunes! Thanks for posting it.
