Cartoon Network / Crayola | Get Animated Tour | Giveaway

Now in its fifth year, this 40-city tour is designed to motivate, energize and educate kids ages 6-14 about healthy living choices by using the power of Cartoon Network’s shows, characters and brands.
The tour will run all summer-long and feature interactive areas designed around select Cartoon Network series as well as activity areas for kids, including: the Crayola “Everything Imaginable” tent featuring three different Crayola activity stations; an FDA (Food and Drug Administration) area where kids will toss over-sized “nutrition label” dice and compare the two face-up labels for a prize, while learning to understand the nutrition facts label on food packaging more effectively; and a Subway section where kids will have the opportunity to compete on stationary bikes with a video game to beat a countdown clock.
Here is a list of stops the tour is making this summer: If a venue is not yet specified, it will be posted on the official Web site www.GetAnimated.com closer to the event date.

My son loves being outside this summer! He’s been playing on his new swing set, playing in the sandbox, drawing on any driveway, patio, or concrete surface with his chalk, playing in the sprinkler or with water guns.

My girls use water guns to knock over chalk and when the chalk gets all wet and messy they get thier paint brushes out and paint the back patio.

My grandson stays animated during the summer months by going back and forth between two parents who love him very much, taking swimming lessons, and helping to “fix it” around the house as he carries his wrench in one pocket and screwdriver in the other pocket.

My 3 little ones are loving our new backyard and play outdoors whenever they can! They love the sprinkler, the slide and our little baby pool! We also go to the park whenever possible.

My daughter has been enjoying the summer by playing soccer and football and she just learned how to ride her big two wheeled bike, so she’s been out doing that A LOT. Also the girls are getting a new swing set on Saturday so I’ll never get them inside! We also love going for walks to our local park and playing. This summer we will be doing a lot of active things. We’ll be hitting the beach several times, and we walk out at the lake every day. We also go hiking with our dog. We’ve been spending a lot of outside time daily! Thanks for the great giveaway!

My three kids are swimming every day, doing art projects, and riding their bikes!

My nephew has been practicing his soccer moves; he can’t wait until his league starts up again. My niece has been swimming every chance she gets and working on art projects when it rains, which it’s done a lot this summer!
My son and I stay animated all summer by spending as much time as we can outside…playgrounds, swimming, going to the zoo. We also have a ‘no TV unless it’s raining outside’ rule for the summer!
