Charlie, Lola, Lotta and Marv have been growing a pumpkin all through summer for the Halloween party at school – and it’s enormous! Everyone has decided what fancy dress costumes to wear, except for Lola. The day of the party arrives and disaster strikes! Bat Boy (otherwise known as Morton from downstairs) splatters their pumpkin and Lola now has a double crisis. In this, and eight other stories, two full hours in all, Charlie and Lola use their creativity and imaginations to solve the everyday challenges they face.
Features the following:
- What Can I Wear For Halloween?
- Everything Is Different and Not the Same
- I Am Goody the Good
- But We Always Do It Like This
- I Am Going To Save A Panda
- I Slightly Want To Go Home
- Do Not Ever Never Let Go
- I Would Actually Like To Keep It
- But I Don’t Really Like This Present
My kids and I love Charlie and Lola here at my house. My toddler actually has picked up a slight accent watching this show and will use it while talking to us when the show is on. One of the things I love about this show is that Charlie really loves his sister. And even though they have their sibling rivalry like most siblings do, he still is there to help Lola out. The little lessons taught during each episode are also helpful in teaching my toddler what behavior is acceptable and what isn’t. We loved the Halloween show and the others are a great bonus. I recommend Charlie and Lola: What Can I Wear For Halloween? to everyone.

Oh my goodness! I LOVE Charlie & Lola, and I don’t even have kids! I own several of the books and have read the rest at the library. I haven’t seen the DVDs, though.
I think I’m going to mention this on my blog as a Halloween “stocking stuffer” (well, a small Halloween gift). I’ll mention that I saw it here first!
We love Charlie and Lola too!

My 5 year old Hannah LOVES Charlie and Lola. For fun we call her Lola sometimes and my son Charlie.
