There Are No Shortcuts in Creating Pure Maple Syrup – Coombs Family Farms is a seventh generation small family maple farm that works with other small independent family farmers who share our commitment to quality, environmental stewardship, and sustainable forestry.

I recently received a great package of Coombs Family Farms products and my kids and I were in heaven. Nothing tastes better than pure maple syrup, especially on a heap of blueberry waffles. Just look at some of the tasty products I was able to try…

Coombs Family Farm specializes in all things maple. Our products include 100% pure maple syrup various grades, pure maple candies, pure maple sugar, and pancake mixes. While all our maple products are made without artificial flavors, preservatives, or thickeners, our organic maple syrup is certified by the Quality Assurance International (QAI) and carries the USDA organic seal. We are also certified kosher by K of K.

All Coombs Family Farms maple syrups are available in the following grades:

Grade A light amber maple syrup
Grade A medium amber maple syrup
Grade A dark amber maple syrup
Grade B maple syrup
Commercial grade maple syrup for our restaurant and food company friends.

My family has used this flavorful syrup on our pancakes, waffles and french toast. If my toddler had her way she would be eating it with everything, and trust me she has asked to have it on everything her carrots, her broccoli and even her soup.

Uniquely versatile and delicious, our Pure Maple Sugar is a healthy alternative sweetener made entirely from pure maple syrup. In our home, we use it in cookies, muffins, breads, flan, milk shakes, lemonade, tea and lots more.

My family eats Pure Maple Sugar on cereal and in some of our cookie recipes, mainly oatmeal cookies and our peanut butter cookies which are great with a touch of maple flavoring. I have even used a little in my coffee when I have run out of sweetener and it is very good.

Making maple candy is half science and half art. The science part is easy. The art takes years of experience to perfect. My grandfather perfected his recipe in 1925 and now this same tasty recipe has been passed down to me down by my grandmother and father.

The ingredient list for our Pure Maple Candy is short. Quite simply, it’s the finest 100% Pure Maple Syrup, period! One bite of this delicious treat with its smooth creamy texture will send you back in time to when you were a kid.

We got the little Maple Man to try out but they also come in a maple leaf and a maple bonbon. My daughter loved the little maple man and wanted to play with it. After trying to explain to her that it was not a toy I had her take a bite and she said, “MMM, I bite the man.” We all got a laugh from that. Very tasty maple candy!
