My Thoughts
Gardening has always intrigued me. I have wanted an overflowing garden of every fruit and vegetable for as long as I can remember. My problem? I can’t even keep a house plant alive. I have tried to garden over and over again and it has never worked. My girls have both expressed interest in planting a garden with me and now I have that opportunity! With Dole’s Garden Kit I can start a very full garden with lots of great vegetables with little to do. The kit contains everything you need to get a garden going. This is the perfect product for us to start, however, due to living in a cold climate I am going to put starting this on hold until I get back to Florida in the Spring, so I can transplant the pots right into the ground and keep it going. It’s too cold here, but I will tell you that both my girls, as well as myself, are very excited to start it when we get back. The Dole Garden Kit is the perfect way to teach your children how fruits and vegetables go from a seed to what you put on the table to eat. I can’t wait to get ours started and will definitely blog about when we do and share pictures. If you are looking for a way to not only teach your children about how foods become what you eat but to also bond with them then I highly recommend the Dole Garden Kit!

That is a nifty little kit to get started on gardening.. we have a garden each year and the kids enjoy putting the seeds into the pots to get them started for the spring. I do a garden pretty well, but I too am not the great taking care of house plants. Gardens are so much easier. Enjoy your garden.. keep us posted when you plant them.

Now that is a neat idea! We enjoy gardening too and this is something we’ll definitely look into. I hope it does well when you get back to Florida!
