I stopped using plastic bags at the supermarket, I only use cloth bags to carry my groceries. I also recycle all the cans & bottles plus the newspapers.

Our family became more eco-conscious at the beginning of this year. We no longer use water in plastic bottles, use reusable lunch boxes and lower our thermostat in the winter and plan on turning up the air conditioning temperature in the summer.

We recycle everything possible. we even pick up recyclable trash on our walks. We have the special light bulbs. We control the temperature in the house and are careful about turning lights off etc.

I seldom take the car out any more unless going to the store, church, doctor, or work, or school. I combine errands as much as possible, I really have cut WAY back on driving.

We have a well for our water now, so we’ve learned to be really careful about what gets into ground water…lawn chemicals, prescription pills that are flushed, etc. We just don’t do it!

I have stopped using papertowels. I was doing pretty good until my toddler dumped out a whole container of MAYO yesterday. Yikes that was a mess and then I had to rinse and launder!
I am very eco-conscious…I ride my bike for local errands, I (of course) recycle from home, & little things like not starting the dishwasher until it’s completely full, etc. I want that bag! (specifically a garnet long-strap)

I always try to recyle
We recycle cans, bottles, & cardboard. I have also been trying to buy more things in bulk and bag them up so it doesn’t cost as much for the individually packed items.

I wash my windows with recycled news papers to save on trees from not buying paper towels. I also keep a hand towel to dry my hands with while cooking and doing dishes. We also recycle all cardboard , glass and plastic here. I only wash in cold water too. We are trying to do many things in order to be eco friendly in this house. Thanks for Sharing~!
