- Don’t Wash by Hand: It is more expensive to wash dishes by hand than to properly run them in a dishwasher. Also, a dishwasher’s water temperature generally reaches over 120º, which is best for removing grease and stuck-on food.
- Run Tap Water First: For sparkling clean dishes, run your kitchen’s hot water tap before starting the dishwasher to make sure the water entering the machine has reached its highest temperature.
- Scrape, Don’t Rinse: Scrape your dishes because the enzymes in your detergent that soften burnt-on food need to cling to protein/starch, such as egg and oatmeal, in order to work properly.
- Load Properly: Cups, glasses and less soiled items should be placed on the top rack. Generally, larger and dirtier items are best on the bottom rack.
- Select the Right Detergent: Detergent is typically made with two main ingredients, bleach and enzymes. Bleach and enzymes lessen the effectiveness of each other but FINISH Quantum’s technology keeps them separated and releases them when needed in the dishwashing cycle for a superior clean.

My Thoughts
This is by far the best dishwashing system that I have used. I guess I am really old school because I was still using powder dishwashing detergent. Shows you how much I know about dishwashing, it is after all one of my least favorite chores. But then I tried Finish Quantum and Jet-Dry Turbo Dry and it has now become one of the easiest to do. No longer do I need to sit there and pretty much wash the plates before putting them in to be washed only to wash off the powder residue afterwards, I felt I was forever doing dishes. I love the ease of use and quickness of these two products, and combined they really do the job! I recommend these products to anyone who wants to make this chore less of, well, a chore!

I really don’t know why I just do, maybe its the fact it seems like after you clean within 5 minutes somebody has used the restroom and the sink, faucets, toliet, soap bottle, and towel are dirty again and it seems like it is never spotless compared to the other rooms that are also cleaned

EASY! The shower! I hate it and everything in it! The doors are impossible to clean, the fixtures are perpetually spotty, and their always seems to be slime somewhere. Yuck!

Ugh. The toilet. We have hard water and all kinds of stuff in our water, so our toilets have to be cleaned with one of those pumice sticks. I hate the sound of that, plus having to kneel in front of that toilet all the time. Plus, it’s gross…and makes me gag.
