FURminator | Review and Giveaway

FURminator Inc. manufactures products to address the number one complaint of pet owners, SHEDDING. We also love our pets and understand the frustration fellow pet lovers feel with the problems of shedding. The embarrassment of hair all over the house when guests come to visit. The endless vacuuming and cleaning. The constant checking and wiping of their hair off our clothes.
For years, a professional groomer (Angie Porter, co-founder) had been attempting to find the best tool to combat shedding. After over a decade of using every possible device in the industry, she worked with her husband (David Porter, co-founder) to develop a new type of tool that didn’t cut the pet’s coat. They created a unique tool to grab and remove the loose undercoat. Together they experimented with placing this stainless steel deShedding edge in a crude handle. Little by little they experimented with different, more-ergonomic handle designs and more-effective edges. After many modifications they arrived at their most successful design and patented the FURminator deShedding Tool, which now has multiple patents and additional patents pending.

My Thoughts
My golden retriever had recently been shedding all over the place and I was getting tired of always picking up clumps of hair so my toddler wouldn’t stick them in her mouth. I was so happy when I got the chance to review this system because now I can say with total happiness that it really works! By simply bathing my puppy with the FURminator Shampoo and brushing her out I have stopped the massive loss of hair from her. I am happy to not have it all over the house or in my daughters hands and I agree that it reduces the allergens in the air because having her around me doesn’t make my eyes red and itchy anymore. The FURminator deShedding system has worked for me and my dog and I recommend it to everyone. It would make a great Christmas present for the dog/dog owner in your life.
not my dog, but that is the breed I have

I don’t know what breed my dog is! I have never really been a pet person until Wally Thor found me. He was wandering the streets of neighborhood with a rope tied around his neck and no fur on his poor little backside. I gave him some water and he hasn’t left my side in 2 years. The vet told me he had been abused (broken ribs and teeth) but now he is the happiest dog ever. He totally melted my heart.
Thanks so much for the giveaway! (I hope this counts as the main entry.)
