Hallmark Mom-to-Kid Encouragement Cards | Review and Giveaway

For nearly 100 years, Hallmark has believed in the very best of human nature, the desire each of us has to live a life that intertwines in meaningful ways with others. That belief stirs our passion – a passion that has built legends, pioneered an industry and enriched countless lives. A passion that you see and feel in everything that bears the Hallmark name.
A recent national survey commissioned by Hallmark revealed more than three-fourths of moms said they are looking for new ways to boost their child’s confidence as they head back to school and get into the flow of the school year and all it brings.
To address their need, Hallmark has introduced a collection of encouragement cards for kids, which are designed to help parents provide an extra boost of confidence for kids as they experience “everyday” moments – whether it’s the first day of school, taking a test or trying out for a team. The cards incorporate humor and heartfelt messages to help adults show support, pride and give a special child a boost of confidence. (Some of the cards include originally recorded sound clips too, which play when a child opens the card!)
These cards start at 99 cents, and the encouragement cards with sound retail for $2.99.
I have always been a firm believer in telling my kids exactly how proud of them I am at just about anything they accomplish and I was so happy to learn that Hallmark now offers a way to help me send that message to them. I recently was able to give my daughter her first card after she tried so hard to learn to play a song on her guitar, when she finally got it right I saw the happiness in her eyes and she made me so very proud that she pushed through and learned it that I took that opportunity to give her a Hallmark card, the You Rock card to be exact and she loved it!
And I get the chance to help my readers with a giveaway for two of you. You will each win a pack of 10 cards. That is 8 of the encouragement cards for kids with sound and two others without sound (a $25.00 value for each prize pack). Please see rules below to enter today…

My 8 year old has Asperger’s syndrome and sometimes has trouble in social situations. Yesterday, he brought home 2 notes praising his behavior from school. At his school the focus on positive behaviors and maintaining those characteristics at all times…and his praises from teachers were that he was knowledgeable and principled. This is a major step forward in his social awareness at school…I’m a proud mom!

I’m proud of how well organized my 4th grade daughter is this school year. She has all her homework, paperwork and library books organized so she doesn’t forget anything. She has really grown up this past year. I think these cards would be great to encourage our kids. Thank you for the entry,

Just yesterday, my son stood up for his friend that was being picked on, he is a bit shy, so for him to stand up to the child was brave of him! I was very proud that he helped out his friend when everyone else wasn’t doing anything!

I am so proud of my son, who is learning his numbers and learning to count.
My daughter who just started kindergarten had some older kids on the playground try to get her to sit in a big puddle of water because it was funny. She said, mom, I just walked away! I was proud she is learning how to stand on her own two feet. She is also doing incredibly well on her reading racers. She is through 6 packs of letters and is starting to put workds together. I am so proud of her!

my 8 year old has been on a competition team for gymnastics for 2 years she has decided that 5 hours of practice was too much, so she has switched to the exhibition team. I am proud that she wants to continue in gymnastics and also proud that she realizes that her school comes first

My daughter was being made fun of on the bus recently. She would get upset and cry. She now has learned not to let them bother her and is able to ignore them.
By the way….yes, the teasing was reported to the school numerous times but it seems they don’t care.
