It’s That Time Again

I never make New Year’s resolutions because honestly I never can seem to keep them. So this year started with me compiling a “wish list” of sorts and at the top of that list was that I want to become healthier and lose a little weight. Tomorrow is a huge step for me in that it will be the first time I cut soda out completely. It makes me sick how much money we actually spend on soda in this house and that has to stop, it will be good for our wallets and our health. I have always tried to diet with soda still on my menu (I know not a smart move) so tomorrow I will start a diet that has actually worked for me in the past, and quite well I might add. The Special K Diet. And this time around I will have more products to choose from as they have added more to their line. But last time, I tried the eat a bowl of cereal for breakfast, and lunch, and then have a healthy, proportioned meal for dinner. Last time I lost 30 pounds following that schedule. This time around though, I still have left over baby fat (almost three years later lol) and holiday bulge I would like to lose and I would like to write about it here in Jen’s Journal. I will record my highs, lows and in betweens as I try to reach my goal of losing 50 pounds. And exercise will be a big part of my routine as well, I am going to try out a core set of things, see which works better for me and continue with that..

Watch out favorite pair of jeans cause here I come…….
