La Newborn (Real Girl!) 14″

The 14″ La Newborns are so amazingly lifelike, you won’t believe your eyes. Each facial expression truly captures the innocence of a baby. Their soft knitted outfits make these dolls a special addition to any collection.

My daughter is a big baby doll fan and her new La Newborn Baby girl is her top favorite ever. She named her Amelia and she is now forever present by my daughters side. These dolls look so real that not once, but twice, my husband did a double take when he came into the room thinking I was watching someone’s baby for the day. I fell in love with the doll the second I saw it wishing that dolls back in my day were this life like. When they say “Real Girl” they mean real in every sense of the words right down to being anatomically correct. My daughter was even happy to see that her baby’s belly button was an outie likes hers :) To say she is loving her new baby is an understatement!

  20. Oh my goodness yes. I’ll never forget her. I am the youngest of four children three being girls so I got all the hand-me-downs and by the time I got them there was nothing left, missing arm or a leg , no hair you get the picture right. To get a new toy was a major big deal. Finally it happened I got my very own brand spanking new doll. Miss Beasley was her name and she was the doll that Buffy from Family Affair TV Show carried around and talked to all the time. It was my favorite show (I’m telling my age here)and you pulled her string and she would talk. Well I hadn’t had her very long and my older brother was trying to be funny and pulled her string (way to hard) and the string wouldn’t go back in the doll and she could no longer talk to me. I was so upset. He had broken my brand new doll, not on purpose mind you. He honestly felt really bad. Well he had a paper route and he worked for weeks saving his money and bought me another brand new Miss Beasley doll. He was a pretty good big brother~! I don’t remember this because of my attachment to the doll, I remember this because I think it was the first time I realized that my big brother really did love his little sister :)
Thanks for making me remember that and for sharing this wonderful review and giveaway.
