I have had the opportunity to review the awesome new Gourmet Single Cup Mini Brewing System by Keurig. I say that this is awesome because it is the most compact and stylish coffee machine I have ever used. I had the most delicious cup of Hazelnut coffee and to top it all off the ease of use is a major plus.
Tired of brewing a whole pot with the possibility of pouring the unused portion down the drain? Tired of waiting 10 minutes for your regular brewer to finish brewing? Then this is the system for you. Not only is it easy to use but brews a steaming cup of coffee, tea or cocoa in under 3 minutes. How can you beat that?
This is the perfect system for those times when less is more. Great in dorm rooms, boats, rvs, vacation homes and hotel rooms. You won’t believe how good this machine is. The features of this system are:
- Heats and brews in less than three minutes
- Comes in your choice of Red, White or Black
- Brews an 8oz. cup
- Comes with a 10 pack of K-Cups
I was amazed by the speed which it brewed and the tastiness of the coffee and I can’t wait to try the other flavors as well as the cocoa and teas they offer.

I try not to drink as much coffee as I did as a teen. I realized I was drinking too much when my little brother (he was about 6 or 7 at the time) asked for a capp. everytime we’d go to the gas station!! I enjoy a cup of flavored coffee every now and then….but had to cut way back when I saw him begging for it! LOL!

I’m not a coffee drinker, unless it’s decaf latte with a yummy flavoring (I cant wait for eggnog latte season!). I keep myself energized throughout the day by staying hydrated, eating well (too many carbs which make you sleepy, so pair it or focus on proteins), and exercise. Sounds generic, I know. But it works for me! Thanks for a great giveaway, my husband DOES drink coffee, and since it’s just him in the house drinking it, this would be perfect.

My “Need Coffee Moment” is staying up all night with my dog who has an upset stomach because he has Diarrhea (sorry to be gross… but you asked! LOL) so that I can rush him outside immediatly before he has another accident on the carpet. We live in a tiny one bedroom condo so there is no where to put him otherwise. Then I have to start my day at 6 AM to get the kids up and ready to school and then have to work right afterwards. I NEED COFFEE BIG TIME!!!! LOL!

Every day is a coffee moment day for me. I just love the smell and taste of it. What would I do without coffee
My Need for Coffee moment – is every morning and sometimes throughout the day. But I’ll tell you a fond memory of coffee first – my dad (long gone now) used to open Maxwell House coffee with the ‘key’ and then he’d sniff over the can. He’d go on and on about how good it smells. So to this day the smell of coffee brings back wonderful memories of my fantastic dad.

I tend to have a sinking spell an hour or so before my husband comes home – I’m not a coffee drinker, so that means time to take a walk to the park!
I would REALLY love to try the White Hot Cocoa K-Cups. I Love it!
Every weekday starts the same at my house, the alarm goes off at 7:00, I make myself a cup of coffee, my oldest daughter wakes up my son. And my youngest daughter wakes up around 8. By that time I’m already on my second cup. I don’t like to eat breakfast but can not go without my coffee. It gives me a great start to my day!

i’m not a coffee drinker, but hot cocoa is my absolute fave. We had a wedding to attend that was outside in October…yeah COLD! So needless to say we were surviving on coffee and I don’t even like it!
A few days ago, my niece stayed the night with me. She woke up at 1:30 saying her ear hurt. I gave her some tylenol tucked her in bed with me and then tried to go back to sleep. She was wide awake! She played ‘Peek-a-boo’, told me stories, wanted to get up to eat vegetables. Everything but go to sleep. She didn’t make it back to sleep until 6 am! I got about 1 hour of goodish sleep. I really needed coffee the next day to keep me going.

My first day back at work after maternity leave. I had a coffee IV.
Being a new mom, I am sleep deprived all the time. That makes for lots of interesting moments where I could use a cup of coffee throughout the day. Unfortunately because I’m breastfeeding, I can’t have too much caffeine so I tend to “save up” for when I really need it. One time I went out driving to Target and for about 2 minutes I could not for the life of me remember why I was going out. I didn’t have to call my husband, fortunately, because I eventually remembered (I would have called right after getting to the parking lot if it would have come to that).
Of course I had to stop for a coffee on that outing, since I didn’t want to forget my way home or absent-mindedly lock the keys in the car.

I need this machine because I have a two week old daughter who loves to get up several times a night and then usually doesn’t like to sleep in her crib so I have to sleep in the chair with her the majority of the night, needess to say this would come in handy for a quick cup of coffee in the middle of the night. Dating again after 5 years. I am a single mom of 6 kids, and I met a wonderful guy about 3 weeks ago. We stay up every night on the phone until midnight, sometimes later. It’s wonderful!

My I need coffee now moments tend to happen every time I’m in the car. I rarely make coffee for myself at home, but when I’m out, I just don’t feel right unless my cup holder is filled.
The flavor I’d like to try is the French Roast coffee by Deidrich. My husband is all about french roast.
I get up an extra hour early each day to have my coffee and read the paper in peace
My latest I NEED COFFEE MOMENT was when I woke up to find that my 3 year old daughter had very quietly tiptoed into my bathroom when she woke up and was putting on my makeup…which she had promptly spilled all over my bedroom floor and was trying to “clean up” by scrubbing at the carpet with one of my nice kitchen towels. Now my bedroom carpet is a nice liquid foundation, loose powder, and blush streak pattern.

I’m a designer and i’ve had to do press checks very 3 hours on a project so 6:00, 9:00 12:00, 3:00 6:00 9:00 12:00….alllllll dayyyy…exhausting!
The first cup is the only one worth drinking! I throw out so much coffee. This would be so much more practical. A perfect cup everytime and easier to make for those times when I’m making coffee before I’ve had my coffee yet!
I need coffee now is the feeling I had when I was driving through NYC from Florida in a UHaul truck and my 3 year old daughter and a guinea pig and we came out of the tunnel on 95 to a blinding snowstorm. I literaly could not see ANYTHING and have no idea why I didn’t just stop but I kept crawling along thinking I’d see something before I hit it?After driving for 15 hours I really needed some coffee RIGHT THEN!!

So yes, I do need private personal coffee moments to savor while enjoying my sanity at the same time. For me hazelnut chocolate works best.

My need coffee moment was definitely when my daughter went into labor with my granddaughter. It took 36 hours for her to have the baby and I stayed awake the entire time. Coffee-coffee-coffee. Yay!

I’m having an “I NEED COFFEE” moment as we speak! I usually have my morning coffee at work. I don’t have a coffee maker at home because I am rushing around in the morning trying to get me and 2 boys out the door by 6:30 am and don’t have time to stop and drink any coffee anyway. My “I need coffee NOW” moment is every school morning when its time to get my five year old daughter out of bed! She is a bull in the morning!
Currently I have a full-time job and 3 part-time jobs plus grad school. Whew! Needless to say, the morning after night classes I am dragging. Strong coffee is essential if I want to be able to put a sentence together coherently.

Ah, when the grandkids spend the night, 4 and 5, in their joyous slumber they steal the cover then force me and my wife to the very edges of the king size bed. Then they wake up at the crack of dawn raring to go. I could use an eye opening shot of coffee about then.

I just received the B60 model as a gift from my husband. I’m not entering the contest but want to confirm that everything you say about this machine is true. My model actually brews in 30 seconds! Wegmans carries a few flavors of Green Mountain, and I order online, too. Whoever wins this contest will have died and gone to coffee heaven!
I don’t drink coffee, so I’m totally addicted to PG Tips brand tea to stay alert. My boyfriend buys it in bulk for us for the winter!
My roommates, though, are coffee addicts and can’t wake up without it.
I would love one of these. My aunt has one and it’s awesome. Coffee is ready in less than a minute!

My I need coffee now moment is when I have to wake up at 530 to take the bus for two hours to work non stop at a candy store in the holidays for eight hours. Come home, cook dinner and clean afterwards. Go to sleep and wake up and do it all over again.

It’s getting colder and SO much harder to get up and out of bed in the morning. I just moved into a new apartment that has a sliding glass door in the bedroom. Turns out, it doesn’t keep much heat in during those cold nights! So, when I finally slide out of bed, slip into a sweatshirt and make my way into the kitchen with the cold linoleum floor – I NEED my coffee! (And right now no coffee pot, so I need this!)

I’m not much of a coffee drinker, but when my final exams are near, you’ll see me downing cup after cup.
My coffee moment? Waking up to cat doo on my dining room floor, a zillion school papers boy child remembered needed to be signed just as we’re headed out the door, Girl Child letting me know that the bake sale I signed up for in August is today and Boss calling to let me know my desk is about to collapse under paperwork, could I possibly come in early? In other words, a typical day!

My coffee now moment goes back to college. I was doing an all night cram session for an exam and needed a caffeine push. I drank who knows how many cups. By the time I went to take the test I was all jittery and sweating. I think I did well. But vowed never to overdose on coffee again.

I admit it, I used to work the graveyard shift. It was a rough time in my life, I needed more money than I had hours to earn it, and stay in school, and pay for school, and there was this pesky thing called rent that kept on popping up every month… You get the idea. I drank so much coffee that my sweat began to smell like a Columbian rain forest. My boyfriend swore he could taste it in my hair.
Well, after I’d paid my dues and earned all the impressive paperwork, I dropped the job and picked up something more sensible, a regular 9-to-5er with triple the pay and a dental plan that actually covered clinical whitening. I’d never been much of a caffeine-fiend before I took up the night shift, so I figured it wouldn’t be too hard to kick the habit. Wrong. For weeks I was paralyzed with a withdrawal so intense you could actually see the veins pulsing at my temples.
In the end, I was the one who folded. I’m a tough cookie, sure, but Caffeine? She’s a biscotti sledgehammer. I start every day with a cup of nice, big pot of joe, and that’s just the way it is, the way it will always be. Coffee and me, we’ve come to terms.

I’d kind of like to try Dark Magic Extra Bold Coffee, because the name sounds snazzy-like. Or maybe Caribou Blend Coffee, because caribou is another word for reindeer, and reindeer is another word for awesome. Though on second thought, the product description for the latter mentions an indonesian bean, and who’s heard of a reindeer in the South Pacific? Lucky for Caribou Blend its product description also contains the words “big-bodied” and “snappy,” which alone are kind of awkward but paired together, I’m sure you’ll agree, possess universally redemptive qualities. Caribou Blend Coffee it is.

Coffee is easily a routine in our house
I need coffee first thing in the morning or I can’t wake up. Then I need it in the afternoon to keep me awake. The single serve is just what I need, since my husband doesn’t drink coffee.

at 84 years old, every moment is ” I need coffee NOW” moment. Maybe if I had some good java, I wouldn’t need so many naps!!! At my age, no one has energy to keep up!
I love my coffee… and I want to also drink more hot teas. My husband is not much of a coffee/tea drinker, but tolerates a cup with me on Sat. & Sun. mornings (before we go out for breakfast) because he knows that is a special “I need coffee now” treat for me. We sit on the patio.. stroll around the yard.. noting flora, fauna and change of seasons. He tries to make my coffee, but it’s never the right strength. The Keurig system would be so perfect… for him and for me!

My “Need Coffee Now” moment: I had been getting up to go to work at 10am for many years until recently. Now my new job requires me to rise at 5:30AM. I need my coffee to shine (at least to glow and go). I’m still brewing and thinking about the mini.
The flavor I’d love to try is: Wake up call.
I need coffee ALL day when I work 13 hour shifts.
I am a big hazelnut fan. I want to try that flavor.
I keep my energy up during the day with flavored coffees paired with a protein rich snack
I need coffee about 11 A.M. to keep me going the rest of the day.
I need coffee because it is the only way I can live.
For health reasons, I’m not currently able to have caffeine, but I’ve found that taking a few grams of vitamin C throughout the day gives me more energy. Thanks for the contest.

I had just enough time to have a shower and make an extra-strong pot of coffee for my Thermos before heading out the door.
