KINGKA’s mission is to make learning Chinese fun and effortless through different games and media. The KINGKA game is a very helpful educational tool for non-native-speakers to teach children Chinese at an early age or encourage the enthusiasm in children to learn Chinese through playing competitively.
KINGKA, the most decorated language board game, is uniquely designed as a multi-purpose toy for all ages. Kids and adults alike find this ingenious twist on a classic game fun and challenging. The abstract lines and complex composition are great brain teasers for 3-99. Once the children have mastered identifying the basic shapes of circles, triangles and squares, they are ready for a KINGKA challenge.
This patented puzzle, Bingo and memory game is easy for parents and teachers who have zero Chinese experience to introduce the Chinese language and culture to their families or classrooms. Based on research, this versatile toy, if used solely as a puzzle, can stimulate visual discrimination, a critical cognitive development in early childhood.
Each KINGKA set can be played by 1-6 players. It is also expandable by adding other sets in the series to increase the challenge and fun, depend upon the size of the group or their fluency. You can mix KINGKA 1, KINGKA 2 and KINGKA 3 to accommodate a larger group or higher challenge for a small group.
- A great game for after school programs, home schooling, and family time.
- You can play Bingo game in four different languages with every Kingka set.
- Content subjects: Numbers (main), animals, body parts, food, nature and daily objects.
With these 54 basic characters, players can create number 1-99 and 160+ new words or phrases in Mandarin Chinese.

My Thoughts
My daughter is always looking for new games, and although she loves video games she still gets excited when we find a board game that she is anxious to play. That is what happened with Kingka. This is definitely a one of a kind game and one that throughout the process will teach her basic words in Mandarin Chinese. Being a homeschooled student she loves that she can learn another language. After a few times playing this game with her she has picked up on quite a few words and she is so proud of herself. I love that it is an educational game that can be played by her and her friends and they have so much fun with it. A very interesting game and one I recommend to everyone!
And thanks to the wonderful people over at Kingka I am able to host a giveaway for my readers. If you would like to get this game for your child and help them learn a new language then please see rules below to enter to win a game today.

Thanks for this post! I am always looking for ways to make learning Chinese more fun for my kids who learn Chinese and Spanish. It’s more challenging, somehow, to make Chinese as fun as Spanish, especially for very young children. I can’t wait to try out this game!
I blog on exposing kids to foreign languages at http://pragmaticmom.com
See gray navigation bar and entry: Foreign Languages
I list the products that are working for us along with some free websites, but I’m always looking for more good stuff b/c my kids need their lessons to “change up” to keep it interesting and fun.
So, thanks again!

Chinese has been offered to the high school students in our public school system for the last five years and will soon be moving to the middle school level. “KINGKA is a great class supplement and a fun way to learn and practice Chinese. It is versatile and the game can be expanded according to the size of the class or the proficiency of the students. It is effective for multi-age/ability classrooms.” I can see a great use for this game in our classrooms and would like to try it out on my own first.
