KneeBouncers | Free Toddler Games | Review

KneeBouncers is a free parenting resource and revolutionary game website designed for the “very young” child.

KneeBouncers.com consists of free online games created specifically for babies and toddlers and has found an audience in children with special needs.

• The games on the website are designed to be played by simply pressing keys on the keyboard and include baby-favorites such as Peek-a-Boo, Music Maker, Choo Choo (a train game) and many others.
• As soon as a child presses any key on the keyboard, animation in the game advances and it makes special things in each game happen (i.e. flowers appear in the background, sounds go off, etc.).
• This way, even the youngest of children can enjoy interacting with the computer – learning cause and effect, but mostly just having fun!

What started out as a project to entertain his own young children by founder Jim Robinson, KneeBouncers.com has quickly become a very popular online resource among parents of toddlers across the world.

The website has been feature in popular media outlets such as the BBC and Parenting Magazine. The site is also very useful to classes of special needs children and children with autism. Teachers across the country have written to the KneeBouncers team expressing their delight by their students’ promising response from playing on the site.

This site is by far one of the ones that has held my toddlers attention for longer than 20 minutes. She gets such a kick out of sitting in my lap and playing all the fun games that KneeBouncers has. From Peek-A-Boo to Making animals jump on a bed she giggles her way through this site and enjoys every minute of it. She gets slightly upset with me when we have to stop and go somewhere or do something else, and always points to the computer and says, “Bounce, bounce”.

I love that my daughter loves this site to play on and love even more that it is FREE. Yep, I said it, F-R-E-E!!!!!!! Can’t find to much for free these days and what better way to spend an afternoon than with your child/children playing games and listening to their laughter. I am so happy that I was introduced to KneeBouncers and I highly recommend this wonderful website to everyone!

And for the parents they have a download section where you can print coloring pages and they even have a forum where you can meet other parents and chat with them. This truly is a great site for everyone.
