Item Reviewed: LeapFrog Tag Get Ready For Kindergarten

For my daughter LeapFrog’s Get Ready For Kindergarten for the Tag Reading System was the best thing for her right now. Her first couple of days at Kindergarten were rough, separation wise but she was ready for learning after playing with the book. She lovedtouching the letters and hearing how they are pronounced, learning vowels and she loved the Monster Mathematics page where she got to count candy. She aced her seasons and has just started to memorize her months which is a help when trying to explain to her when the holidays are upcoming.

She has also enjoyed learning about her community, which has a great layout in the Get Ready For Kindergarten Tag Book, it has inspired her to ask me where these things are in our community and we have started a map of our own showing her where they are.

As a mom, watching her grow and learn is an amazing sight. I think back to when she didn’t even know how to talk and I am so proud at all her accomplishments that she achieves in her education and her daddy and I are so thrilled to see her trying to read to us, she has been getting better and better with sounds and sight words and hearing her read a story to us is like music to our ears and we have LeapFrog to thank for that. I will say again that I am impressed with how technology has grown and allowed us to hear stories through a reader as I believe that this helps my daughter sound out her words because she is actually hearing how the letters sound. The LeapFrog Tag Reader is the best thing she has for her education. Best thing is she can have fun playing games too and not just learning!
