Little Spirit: Christmas in New York | DVD Review and Giveaway

Moving to a new house in a new city is never easy, but when Leo’s dog (and best friend) Romona is accidentally lost in Central Park, Leo is determined to find his furry little friend in time for Christmas. Feeling lost and alone, a magical spirit takes him on an incredible adventure and Leo soon learns that this new city isn’t as scary as it seemed – and that the true meaning of Christmas may just be found in the people he meets along the way. Little Spirit: Christmas In New York features the voices of Danny DeVito (Deck the Halls), Lucy Liu (Kung Fu Panda), Brenda Song (“The Suite Life of Zach & Cody”) “NBC Nightly News” anchor Brian Williams and Freddy Rodriguez (“Ugly Betty”) – as well as music by country music sensations Faith Hill and Duncan Sheik. An enchanting tale the whole family can enjoy this holiday season.
My daughters both loved this DVD and the story it told. While not the typical type of cartoons they are used to watching they both sat still, which is a feat in itself with my toddler and watched the movie from start to finish. My toddler even clapped when it was over and immediately asked for it to be put on again. We really enjoyed this movie and it was a nice surprise and a great way to spend family time together. We recommend it to everyone, especially for the upcoming holiday season!

My favorite Christmas movie is an oldie, but goodie classic “It’s a Wonderful Life.” I think I could watch that movie 100o’s of times and still be uplifted!

My favorite Christmas time movie is Home Alone 2: Lost in New York. I watch it every year to get my in the Christmas mood. LOL Nothing says Christmas as a kid lost in New York being chased by the sticky finger bandits, right?
