My Thoughts

My kids have always loved getting mail, but I will have to say that my middle daughter is the one who enjoys it the most.When she was younger she would ask if anything came for her everyday we got the mail delivered. I started subscriptions to different kids magazines so I could finally say, “Yes, honey you got mail!” But that wasn’t at all personalized.

When Mail4Kids started arriving she was so excited as she had a box with her name on it and cards that she could collect, which she is a big fan of collecting things. One of her favorite things was the giant dinosaur egg. She absolutely loved watching the dinosaur crack the egg (with the help of water) and grow bigger. I love that she is still excited by those types of things, makes me feel she is still a kid at heart even though she is growing up.

One of my personal favorites about this kit is that through homeschooling her she has learned the joy of sending mail as well and I love watching her share her things with other children as she puts a card in the mail and carefully addresses the envelope. She has such a good heart! And Mail4Kids gives her something back, something to look forward to every month.
