I have found the perfect product to help my daughter memorize her multiplication tables. This has been a tough spot in Math for us and every lesson leaves us both feeling frustrated. But after I received the Multiplication Mountain CD to review I began to see a ray of hope. Not only does this CD teach you but it does so in a way that allows kids to have fun.
About Hap Palmer
Hap Palmer pioneered the integration of music and movement in the area of early childhood education. His songs enhance the development of motor skills, language acquisition, reading readiness, and math concepts as well as nurture the imaginative process and encourage creative problem solving. His widespread popularity in schools and day- care centers for over twenty years, has made him a living legend within the teaching community for young children. Teachers have used his music for more than two generations to teach letters, numbers, phonics, days of the week, colors, shapes and more. A third generation of children are now learning with his songs and movement innovations.
An accomplished musician, singer/songwriter and educator, his multiple skilled talent on guitar, bass, percussion, saxophone, flute and clarinet can be heard on his various recordings. His Baby Songs live-action music video series for young children has sold over 2 million units. Hap’s recordings and videos have received numerous honors including the Parents’ Choice Award, the American Library Association Notable Designation, the National Association of Parent Publications Award, The Early Childhood News Directors Choice Award and the American Video Award.
The tunes range from jazzy, bluesy and reggae and it is so fun to listen to. I love this CD, the tunes are catchy, the lessons are clear and the fun my daughter has is priceless. I love that I have caught her singing the songs every once in awhile. So I know it is working and I have seen it in her schoolwork.
The songs are:
1. (2) The Twos Give You Twice
3. (4) Tens Trip Off Your Tongue
5. (6) Fives Alive
7. (8) Elevens Have Those Doubles
9. (10) Waltzing Through The Threes
11. (12) Number Nine Rollin’ Down The Line
13. (14) Rockin’ The Fours
15. (16) Let’s Multiply By Six
17. (18) Eights – Shimmy, Shimmy Shake
19. (20) Sevens – Almost To The Top
21. (22) Twelves – Reach For The Sun
23. (24) Fours Bonus – Twelve Race Cars
25. Shake Up The Tables
26. Shake Up The Tables

Multiplication Mountain is a must have to help your kids along the way, heck this CD even helped me out a bit, 8′s and 9′s always have made me stop to think about it for a minute. Not anymore thanks to Hap Palmer and his great music. And I also have been given the opportunity to give away 2 copies of Multiplication Mountain to 2 Dirty Shirt readers. See rules below to enter.

My favorite classes all through school were always the science classes. I love biology and fun stuff like that.
BTW, I had a music tape when I was a child similar to the one you are giving away. I loved it and it really helped my math skills. I have been wishing I still had it so my daughter could listen to it. I may buy this CD anyway!

Math was always my favorite subject throughout school. Math came and comes easy to me. Not so with my children, they have difficult time with math, and I find it extremely hard and somewhat frustrating trying to teach/explain it to them. I know math, but, I am unable to break it down for them to learn. This Math Cd sounds like the perfect learning tool to start my youngest with.
