Horny Toad’s sister brand, is also committed to giving back and being Green. Nau is 100% sustainable, uses the labor watch dog group Verite to monitor all of their overseas factories, purchases carbon offsets for all their shipping actions, and every single item they produce is fully recyclable. Their new fall and winter collection features jackets, trenches, reversible shirts, denim and skirts. All are impeccably designed and beautifully constructed. The recent launch of their new bag collection, which is also produced using recycled aluminum and organic cotton, makes a perfect gift for any eco-friendly traveler or person on the go. Better yet, 2 % of each Nau purchase is donated to a charity of the consumer’s choice!

Merino2 Long Sleeve Henley

merino2 long sleeve henley

High performance meets style next to your skin. A lightweight, breathable, slightly stretchy merino base cut in the casual style of a Henley. It flatters, from buckling in to kicking back.

Ultrafine merino wool keeps skin dry and comfortable, is quick-to-dry and naturally odor resistant. Lightweight, breathable over a wide range of temperatures, and insulates, even when wet. Merino wool comes from the finer, softer, longer hairs of Merino sheep. The thinner the fiber, the softer the knit. The wool fibers in this blend are 18.5 microns; go any thinner and it’s practically cashmere.

Comes in Carbon or Quartz Heather (shown) and can be  found at Nau.com for $120.00.

My Thoughts

I am always searching for eco friendly companies and I will have to say that I usually don’t look in the clothing industry very often. Not that they aren’t there but I tend to have tunnel vision on some things. Nau has changed all that. Not only are they eco friendly but they have the most fashionable clothing I have seen in awhile. The merino2 long sleeve henley is so soft, flexible and comfortable that I didn’t want to take it off. I don’t have a lot of clothes that I would consider good to wear both as a work/dress shirt and a comfortable play shirt. I love mine and I recommend the Nau clothing line to everyone. You will definitely find something that is you style there.
