Come and have fun in Math with Mathomatix: Number Sense – a brand new app specially designed for kindergarteners! Yes, you just read fun and Math in the same sentence. Number Sense is first in a series of math apps designed to play with numbers and ease counting to kindergarteners based on the National and California standards.

This not only familiarizes kids with numbers but also engages them with funny and witty gameplay.

  • Do the Dotty – Simple but engaging connect-the-dots games that will help your kids recognize and memorize numbers in the right order. Oh, and don’t be surprised if they show you a moon that they have just colored blue!
  • Numberella – A super hero donkey (Drizzle is his name) is all you need to get kids to compare numbers, without objects, from 1 to 10. And yeah, Drizzle can be tickled too!
  • Fishoonka – This deceptively simple game uses a school of fish to demonstrate the concepts of greater than, less than and equal to! Your kids are gonna love the interactive environment.

My Thoughts

My toddler loves the look and the sounds of this game but it is a tad bit over her head still so she sits and enjoys watching her big sis play the games. My tween has played with it and really enjoys it. She likes the colorful characters and says her favorite game is Fishnoonka. One that my toddler has tried out and I am so proud of her accomplishments in it is Booster Balls, it is helping her learn to count higher than 20 and she likes putting it on to test herself out. Good app for kids to get help in learning math.
