Ready for an adventure with the whole family. Whatever your family’s idea of adventure, the STYLUS TOUGH-6000 is ready for action. Anytime, everywhere. So durable, it’s even shockproof up to 5 feet — extra protection against accidental drops and rough handling.
I am loving the new Stylus Tough-6000 camera from Olympus. This camera can do things that none of my other cameras can do. And with my lifestyle, having three kids and just my general clumsiness this camera has been dubbed by my husband as the BEST for me. Just look at what the Olympus Stylus Tough-6000 can do…
- SHOCKPROOF (5ft.) – Life can be tough, this camera is tougher. Rugged metal body and revolutionary shock-absorbing construction are designed to withstand a 5-foot drop, bump, or other mishap.
- WATERPROOF (10ft.) – A revolutionary system of waterproof seals and gaskets keeps water out so you can take pictures as deep as 10 feet underwater.
- FREEZEPROOF (14°F/-10°C) – Boldly enter that winter wonderland without worrying about your camera. The STYLUS TOUGH-6000 is winterized to perform at below-freezing temperatures.
- TAP CONTROL – Operate picture playback, shadow adjustment and flash mode just by tapping the top, back and sides of the camera. Ideal for underwater use, wearing gloves or other situations where traditional buttons may be impossible to use.
- DUAL IMAGE STABILIZATION – Forget about blurry shots with this 2-in-1 anti-blur solution. Sensor-Shift Image Stabilization compensates for camera shake to keep your shots steady while Digital Image Stabilization captures crisp, clear images in any situation.
The above underwater picture was taken on a cloudy day and it still came out great! I have taken a few pictures with the Olympus Stylus Tough-6000 and will be taking a lot more as Olympus has become my sponsored camera for all my photo needs throughout my hotel review projects and in my everyday life. All photos from here on have been shot with the Stylus Tough-6000. And some that I can’t share just yet, have turned out absolutely beautiful! I am so amazed by the quality of the shots, and how great they come out. I definitely recommend the Stylus Tough-6000 to everyone looking at getting a new camera.

Thanks for the review — that underwater picture is really good. I checked the website and for approx. $300 it really does seem like a great buy. I’m one who drops my camera a lot, too, so this looks like something I could really use. Can’t wait to see your other pictures.

Hey! I’ve wanted this camera for so long, but I would like to know if it takes good quality pictures as well.
