Flippity Frogs, like Tiddly Winks, is a hand-eye coordination skill game. It’s great for kids who like some action in their board games! Kids can dive right in to this game without a lot of instruction, but can continue to play for many years by increasing the complexity of play (instructions for all levels are included). The math element is especially terrific for school classrooms and home game nights – it adds a learning component that is flippity fun!
Flippty Frogs was the most fun game that I have had the opportunity to play with my toddler, she laughed the whole time and had so much fun playing it. We now play it once a day and she couldn’t be happier!
Though the game says Ages 6-12, this game can be played by adults and younger children too. We’ve watched a 14-year-old get clobbered by an 8-year old and we’ve played with families where preschoolers team up with parents. This game was developed by the game designer of Qwirkle ™ – if you love Qwirkle ™, you’ll love Fish Stix!
All my kids played this and the funny thing is that my tween beat both my husband and I. My toddler even doubles up with her sister and beat me at it. I love visual games that make you think and Fish Stix is definitely one of them.
Really Ridiculous Super Silly – It’s one silly giggle after another in this wacky book of activities. Book opens with a lay-flat binding so it’s easy to write, easy to wipe, and easy to play again and again! It’s packed with lots of activities and is a simple, everything-included, take-along tote for waiting rooms, restaurants, planes, back seats, and any time there’s down time!
My tween enjoyed working through this and even sharing with the whole family the stories that she made up along the way. I love that it is dry erase and can be used again and again. Especially great for road trips.
Glitter Princess Castle – Girls love pretending to be enchanted princesses. Her imagination will soar with white unicorns and magic wands as she builds her very own dream castle. Families love this item because they can take it in the car, on a plane, into a restaurant, or anywhere you might want an engaging activity that’s easy to start and easy to clean up.
My toddler loves stickers, and she quite frequently walks around sticking her stickers to just about everything she can, I currently have a wonderful end table whose legs are completely covered with stickers. So this particular sticker kit was perfect for her and with the help of her sister my toddler crated her own castle masterpiece that she is very proud of and even wanted me to display it on her shelf in her room.
Camping Out Sticker Pack – Great on-the-go package lets kids and families take this item in the car, on a plane, into a restaurant, or anywhere you might want an engaging activity that’s easy to start and easy to clean up. Just toss everything back into the handy carry-along tote! Play for a few minutes or a few hours. Reusable cling stickers make this an activity kids will go back to again and again.
Remember me talking about the sticker problem a minute ago, well this kit helps by making the stickers reusable and gives her a bigger place to put them on so she won’t put stickers on furniture. I don’t say it solves the problem all together and she has been making some adorable scenes on the pages that came in the kit. I did find a lone camper on the fridge the other day though…
I am very impressed with Peaceable Kingdom Press and their line of children’s toys and games. Not only are they fun for everyone but they are each educational in their own way, something that is very important to me.
