Anyone who knows me knows that I am a Karaoke junkie. I love to sing, although not all that good, but I have so much fun doing it. I have a great big collection of CDGs and when singing games started coming out for video game consoles I knew I would have a big collection of songs on there too because video games are another of my passions. And when Queen was announced as coming out for the PS2 and PS3 I about passed out, okay wouldn’t go that far but I was downright excited.
We Are The Champions is one of my group songs, you know the one where you drag all your non-singing friends up on stage to sing with you (I have started a few of my friends on Karaoke this way and now they love it). The Queen SingStar is an awesome compilation of their greatest music spanning the 70′s and 80′s. Just take a look at this song list:
- A Kind Of Magic
- Another One Bites The Dust
- Bohemian Rhapsody
- Breakthru
- Crazy Little Thing Called Love
- Don’t Stop Me Now
- Fat Bottomed Girls
- Hammer To Fall
- I Want It All
- I Want To Break Free
- Innuendo
- Killer Queen
- One Vision
- Play The Game
- Radio Ga Ga
- Save Me
- Somebody To Love
- The Show Must Go On
- These Are The Days Of Our Lives
- Tie Your Mother Down
- Under Pressure
- We Are The Champions
- We Will Rock You
- Who Wants To Live Forever
- You’re My Best Friend
Queens music has always been around our household and my family and I had so much fun with this game on the PS3 and I even got the hubby singing which he doesn’t normally do. And a great new feature is the voice control menu that has been added to SingStar Queen PS3 which enables players to scroll through the song carousel, select the tracks they’d like to sing and purchase songs through the SingStore by simply speaking into the microphone. Queen is a great addition to any music library and it is a fun addition in my Karaoke library! I loved playing it and I know it will be a hit at my next party!

Sounds AWESOME! I have (my kids) have xbox and we have the rock band game, but no Queen songs on it!
I love for Queen to come out on Xbox. I just love Freddy’s voice.
