My Thoughts

I love action movies and I especially love action movies that add a little bit of a romance and comedy flavoring and Reel Steel has it all! Aside the fact that I love watching Hugh Jackman…I mean movies that Hugh Jackman is in, I was really shocked that I ended up liking the film as much as I did. In the beginning I wasn’t happy with his character, the conflict with his child and all, but in the end it all made sense and was a great movie about a father getting to know his child doing something they both had a passion for. Wanted the ending to be a bit different but at least it was the cookie cutter type movie, what I expected to happen didn’t, I like it when that happens. I recommend Reel Steel to everyone! Especially watching the bonus features, bloopers and the Making of Metal Valley are worth the watch. And if you love robots then make sure to watch the Building the Bots bonus feature! Bloopers always have my family and I cracking up!
