This past weekend I sent my Orlando Correspondent to the circus. She is my sister and treated my niece and nephew to a fun evening full of animals, clowns and excitement. Below is her and her family’s experience.

Melanie’s Thoughts

I have always loved the circus, the noise, the music, the cotton candy, everything! My husband and I along with our two children had the privilege of attending Ringley Bros, Barnum & Bailey Dragon circus this past weekend and we had so much fun! The excitement started to build as we walked through the parking lot, I thought my kids were going to explode, they could not wait to see the dragon. I was kind of excited too, reverting back to a child myself, excited to see all the acts that I know only Ringling Bros. can provide!

We had wonderful seats with a great view of all the action of the show. We saw some old familiar acts like the horses with their trainers doing amazing tricks, and some new acts such as these plastic looking bubbles hanging in midair with girls doing tricks inside and out of the bubbles. It was amazing! One of my favorite acts will always be the lions and tigers, they are simply majestic and I was happy to have snapped some great shots of them. And they definitely saved the best for last, with the huge dragon coming out at the end and making it’s way around the arena, very impressive. The kids absolutely loved it!

We all had a wonderful time, the kids didn’t last two seconds on the ride home, out like lights. Too much excitement! This will definitely be a memory to last a lifetime for them.
