SeaWorld’s 2012 Halloween Spooktacular
On Sunday we headed to SeaWorld to enjoy Halloween Spooktacular and we had so much fun! My youngest daughter started out in her costume but with the heat had to take it off shortly after we arrived so sadly she did not wear it while trick-or-treating but that was okay. This year was a little different than previous years because she it was the first time she was actually aware of everything that was going on around her (we missed last year due to being in Montana). She was running from one stand to another, dancing around every time the next stand came into view and was just generally excited to be a part of what was going on.
This year she not only enjoyed the trick-or-treating but got to dance in Penelope’s Party Zone, she decorated a HUGE Rice Krispie treat and she played in the bubbles being blown from the bubble machines. SeaWorld really gets this holiday right with their Halloween Spooktacular proof by the year that we missed, even my oldest daughter said she has fun when we go to it. One of the new things we saw this year (and it may just be new to us) was Penelope’s Photacular where you get your photo taken and it might be seen before Shamu Rocks!
I would not change anything except the heat for SeaWorld’s Halloween Spooktacular, which is beyond their control. My whole family loves this event and we recommend everyone being a part of it when you head to SeaWorld. Be sure to go before time runs out! The dates for this event run on October 13 & 14, October 19, 20 & 21, and October 26, 27 & 28. Your kids will love it and seeing the smile on their face is so awesome!
My family and I received tickets to get into SeaWorld to experience Halloween Spooktacular so I could write about it for my readers. All thoughts and opinions are 100% mine.
