Yesterday was a special night for my husband and I, we celebrated our 17th year of being together, not our wedding anniversary but our first date anniversary. It was an important day for us because it signified how much we have been through in the last 17 years. We decided to go all out and head to a nice new restaurant here in Big Sky. Olive B’s was everything we expected and more. We had an amazing three course meal and a great bottle of wine.

We started with a special of the night, Asian Calamari (a pea-nutty sauce variation of calamari)…

We sipped a nice, smooth Cabernet, one I had not tried before, Seven Oaks, and we loved it. I am prone to headaches and an occasional hang over with some wines but I am happy to say that this one was so smooth that that was not an issue this time around (had three glasses). Seven Oaks will be added to my must have at a party list.

We ordered New York Strip Steaks which were wonderful and I was so caught up in eating and reminiscing with my husband that I forgot to take a picture of my food. But trust me it was delicious!! Now when the dessert came out I knew I wanted a picture of the yummy cake.

It was also a special of the day, an Oreo crusted Coconut and Chocolate ice cream slice of heaven. It was so amazing, I really can’t do it justice! OUr whole meal was perfect!

Olive B’s is a newer restaurant in Big Sky Meadow Village, where the old La Luna used to be. Olive B’s is beautiful with a quiet atmosphere, attentive staff (Our waitress was amazing, we did not want for anything before she knew it) and amazing food! I highly recommend if you are ever in Big Sky, Montana that you check it out, you will NOT want to miss this place!
