Hmm, one tip I think everybody should know. If you get your own blood on a piece of fabric, try dabbing it with your own saliva. It gets most of it out, then pretreating should take care of the rest of it. Or hydrogen peroxide works well too.

One tip – wow I didn’t think it would be this hard to come up with one. If you are at a restaurant and drop something on yourself, first scrape it with a knife to keep it from seeping into the fabric…

I keep on hand a supply of fresh green onions chopped in the freezer. When I buy (or grow) the bunch, I chop them and place in a freezer bag to freeze them. If I need some for a recipe I just take out what I need. I just toss them in the recipe no defrosting required.

Here’s a little tip. Dish soap is a really good stain remover. So the next time your kids get something on their clothes and you’re out of stain remover just grab the dish soap.

To keep a bathroom mirror from fogging up when you shower, wipe the window with shaving cream, it keeps it fog free for about a week!
To remove all the old hair from my hair brushes I set them in a jar of bleach and it eats all the hair away. Of course you have to give them a good washing after.
we had a very tiny kitten too small for traditional flea dips, powders or frontline. We gave him a bath in the bathroom sink with warm water and lemon citrus Joy dish detergent and it killed all those fleas right off him! (and was very gentle on his skin and he smelled good too!)

Chop all your onions as soon as you get home. Put in snack baggies. (snack bag = 1/2 onion) Place flat in freezer.
I HATE chopping onions. I’d rather do it all at once (in my processor) and have them on hand always.

I have lots of tips on my blog, but can I think of one right now, at this moment? No.
I think everyone should know how to roast pumpkin seeds for their kids. I just linked to a recipe on how to do it since I didn’t know myself. Basically, you wash the seeds, spread them out in a baking dish, and then bake them for 60 to 90 minutes. Voila.

This one has come in quite handy around my house with three boys. Liquid blue Dawn(the original), it must be the blue one, get out almost everything! Disclaimer-I do not work for the company nor does anyone I know. I am ECO friendly, but I admit to keeping a mall bottle of this on hand as it has saved clothing, furniture, carpet, and walls.

After living in a dorm for a year, I realized that not everyone knows how or why to remove lint from a dryer. (If you don’t the dryer could catch on fire) Maybe it’s a college kid thing that they were never taught until college. Who knows, but I believe everyone should learn how & why to remove lint from the dryer.
I toss my kitchen sponge in the dishwasher along with the dishes to keep it clean.
Ummmmm. You can re-use your swiffer dusters. Just throw them in the wash, but not in the dryer.
