Item Reviewed: Shox Scooter

Shred Sled, a company specializing in extreme sports products for children, is introducing the Shox Scooter, the first-ever active shock absorber scooter that allows riders to perform higher, faster, more awesome tricks! Your kids will love it! Unlike traditional scooters, the Shox Scooter’s supreme shocks increase a rider’s speed and air-time, making stunts bigger and better.

Great for beginners learning their very first “ollie,” or advanced riders landing those perfect “180s,” the deck’s rough grip surface provides excellent foot control and traction while performing tricks.
The Shox Scooter will be available for an approximate retail price of $59.99 and is appropriate for ages 5 and up.

My Thoughts

My tween loves the Shox Scooter! She likes to go out front and ride around the cul-de-sac and try to do tricks on it. She lets all her friends ride it too and it is definitely a conversation piece for them. I love seeing her outside and active and even though when she tries a trick I close my eyes ( :) ) I am so happy to see that she has something she likes playing on. And she isn’t the only one. My toddler likes to get all geared up* and get on the Shox Scooter too, with my tweens help of course, and she holds on while her sister pushes her around. The Shox Scooter makes that easy with the easy-to-grip handles that can adjust to different heights.

My teenage son even gets on it and does a few things but I tend to think he is a bit too big for it. But he likes to ride it down a little ramp that we have out front. Of course when my girls saw that they wanted to try that too but this mean mom has told them to wait a few years before trying out things like that!

*Both my girls use a helmet, knee pads, elbow pads and whatever else they need to protect themselves when using the Shox Scooter.

I wrote this post for a blog tour with Team Mom and received a Shox Scooter to test out with my kids. All thoughts and opinions are 100% mine.
