Sonic Bomb | Review and Giveaway

Sonic Bomb

The new Sonic Bomb has been designed for guys of all ages on a mission. Stealth grey color with red controls, night vision display and pulsating alert lights won’t keep you in the dark. Complete with ground shaking super-charged bed shaker, and turbo-charged 113db extra loud alarm. Good luck sleeping through this blast Batman…

Features:

  • Packaged with their most powerful 12-volt bed shaker
  • pulsating flashing alert lights
  • Hi/low dimmer switch for better night vision
  • Extra loud audio alarm, adjustable tone and volume control
  • The Bomb’s got your back with a battery backup to maintain time and alarm settings in case of a power outage.

This product is literally “The Bomb”! If you have a teenager this clock is most definitely for you, I know my teen could sleep forever and I always have a hard time waking him up. But not anymore (insert evil laugh here) and not since I received the Sonic Bomb to review.

See he didn’t know I had it and I decided to play a little joke on him, payback if you will for all the jokes he has played on me. So I set the clock for the time I wanted him to be up, which was much earlier than the 11am he would like it to be. I slide the bed shaker under his mattress and the clock under his bed and waited until the next morning. About a minute before it was to go off I snuck into his room and just stood there. The alarm went off and he jumped right out of bed, while I laughed. I have to say that the loudness of the alarm even scared me a little, I will admit it, I jumped. And after he got his bearings he laughed about it too.

It is a great clock and after his little wake up incident he is still actually using it, and when I asked him why his response was “You want me out of bed in the morning right?” So the Sonic Bomb is the only clock he can (or will) wake up to. Anything that can wake my son up gets two thumbs up from me and I will even throw in my husband’s thumbs for this one :)

And now, I would like to offer a Dirty Shirt reader the opportunity to get their teen out of bed in the morning by hosting a Sonic Bomb Clock Giveaway. To be the lucky recipient of this clock please see rules below to enter today!

*DISCLAIMER* I do not recommend anyone do what I did with this clock. I know my son and I knew he would find it funny to get scared. Other teens may not find that so funny or have that same reaction.

I need this for me. Getting up in the morning has always been difficult for me but as I get older it gets harder and harder. I hit the snooze an average of 10 times each morning before I even realize that I am doing it. Getting a LOUD alarm clock is a continual issue for me. Thanks for the chance to get one of these.

Getting our teen son up this year is a pain in the behind, I can hear his alarm clock across the hall in our bedroom. I hear him turn it off, but the real pain is when he sets it on the weekends for 5:30 and I get up turn it off and can’t get back to sleep, and I am a grouch for the day.

If I had a dollar for every time I tell my husband WAKE UP! He has his cell phone alarm and the only one that wakes up is me. And don’t get me started on my 14-year-old daughter. Personally, I think I have a sign over me that says “I will wake up anyone any time. Just try me”. If won this I would give it to one of them and then buy another one. THEN I would sleep.

My DH has to have 2 alarms. One rings and he turns it off and the second one then rings 10 minutes later and maybe he will turn it off and maybe even try to catch more sleep and self monitor his wake-up at which he is a dismal failure at. I’m up earlier w/ the kids so it is usually me who gets him up. I love this bed shaker gizmo. Ok, I’m done venting. Thanks for the entry.
