Sprint HTC Snap | Update and Giveaway

I have been chosen on behalf of Sprint to receive, keep, and provide feedback for the new Sprint HTC Snap Smartphone.
Today I am going to bring you an update on my new Sprint HTC Snap. I have tested a few things out and I will be answering some questions I have received. I will first start off with the basic use.
Phone use – I have used this phone for almost a week now and after getting it all loaded up with what I needed on hand I have been able to test it out. The phone quality is great, I have not dropped a call in a store, sounded like I was talking from a bathroom or lost a signal anywhere I went. I talked from a car (not driving of course), in a store, in my home, and at my sisters (which has always been a problem with my other phone, she is kinda out there in the middle of no where). The sound quality is awesome! Easy to use to dial and talk.
Windows Mobile - I honestly don’t know how I have lived without this for as long as I have. Because I can now sync my email, my calendar, my notes (via One Note) and everything else I need this phone has now become my lifeline. Okay that sounds extreme, but seriously I have everything I need in the palm of my hand. Having Windows Mobile is a huge plus for me and one I will not go without from here on!
Multiple Email Accounts – Love this feature. I have been able to add the ones that don’t have online support, which I love. I do however have to use the Internet to go through my GMail and Yahoo accounts but that is okay seeing as I am phasing them out anyway. This feature is a big one for those like me that have many email accounts.
Web Surfing – One word…FAST!!!
So far that is what I have been focused on it my feedback. I have loved using this phone and the things I can think of that would really make this phone complete is a bigger keyboard (I am getting past it but I did have to trim my nails to do so, no biggie and worth it for the speed), maybe have a trackball and I would love to have Wi-Fi, I think every phone should have wi-fi, but, maybe that is just me.
I will answer one of my questions I received and that is:
Q – You said you were using Twitter and Facebook on this phone, are they good apps that work well? From email from Crystal C.
A – I am the type of person that loves being connected to these two social media platforms and having these are a big plus in my book. The Facebook app looks great and runs great, gets hung up a little every now and then but is a smooth app. The Twitter app is only okay in my book although I will say I still have not gotten the hang of it yet so that may change. But having it available at all is awesome!
And that so far is my journey with the Sprint HTC Snap. Remember I am still figuring things out so I will be posting at least one more time to wrap up the feedback. I will be exploring the games, music and tv features of the Sprint HTC Snap. So until next time…

I love that it has Microsoft Voice Command because that’s how I currently call people who are on my Contacts.
I love the fact that this phone has the microsoft office mobile.
I’m always using word and that’d be a big help for when I write my poetry.

My favorite feature would be the QWERTY keyboard. I am not that good at using the text feature on my standard phone, and that would make it much easier.
Definitely voice recognition. I need my glasses to read so to not have to see those tiny buttons for dialing is great- especially when you are on the go.

Wow, amazing contest to find.. Went in the hospital last year and during the time spent had my BlackjackII left on the charger at home, spent a month in and came home to find out it overheated the proccessor was I bummed out ;s but anyway as far as features it sure tops the old one double the proc speed doubled rom, it is a about 1x1MM bigger but whos judging that? I would enjoy the 3g for DATA Connect for my laptop, and sounds silly but biggest thing the blue colouring on the Number Keys, and to top everything which something that isnt Mentioned on the site that is Linked, Snap has a Flash! for the camera, Yay.

OMG what’s not to love? First off, thanks for this amazing review. My DH’s Palm Smartphone is near death and after reading your email update I told him that he has to buy this phone ASAP. He’s an exec so the Windows live, GPS, long battery life, bluetooth and voice recognition are all big pluses (++) He’s all thumbs when it comes to texing, so the girls will be glad that he can be efficient on the Qwerty kepboard! Of course, these are all the features that I love, too–so maybe I’ll be lucky enough to win **fingers crossed** and the 3 of us can be stylin’ with our new HTC snap smartphones!

Love the QWERTY keyboard, and the fact that this would interface w/all the programs @ my job. My employer pays for SOME people to have Blackberry’s or Laptops, but not ALL of us – and it makes it extremely difficult to do my job sometimes!!! (And I can’t afford to purchase myself, AND pay for the monthly fee
) (I think I’m one of the LOWEST pd Nurses in this whole town…… and have the least perks…. WOW! Guess it might be time to do a little ‘job hunting!)

Omg I love that it has Microsoft Office on it, I absolutely need that on the go for work.. I do a lot on Excel sheets and I can’t answer some emails on the go because the answers are in the sheets, this phone seems GREAT!
Windows Mobil with 3G support would be the bomb~! Keep in mind the phone I had didn’t even have the capability to even take a picture. No keyboard other than the number pad so texting was a pain . I used my phone to make a call and that was it. So you can imagine what I think of this awesome Sprint HTC Snap. Thanks for sharing this amazing giveaway with your readers~!

My favorite feature of the Sprint HTC Snap is the Direct Push E-Mail. I have several emails both personal and work related and this feature is one I would use consistantly when out and about.

I have two favorites: the voice recognition and the GPS. Do I have to choose only one? Then I’d say the voice recognition.
I’d probably say the qwerty keyboard will be very convenient – I’ve only had the regular old-fashioned type of phone keys.

You did a great job of reviewing this Sprint HTC Snap Phone and there are so many features that it offers that make it most appealing to me, especially since the phone I am currently using is so outdated and really offers none of the bells and whistles this Sprint HTC Snap does. My very favorite feature is that is has Microsoft Internet Explorer Mobile which means that even when I am away from home with our kids I can still stay adequately connected online, which right now is the number one thing I wish I could do with my current phone that it cannot do.
