StoryChimes™ are interactive children’s stories available for the iPhone and iPod Touch accessible exclusively through Apple’s iTunes App Store. These fun and educational stories are brought to life by great narration, music and more! StoryChimes are fun for children as well as parents, who remember the books of yesteryear that prompted you to turn the page “when you hear the chime.”

Best of all you can take all of your favorite stories with you, without carrying all of those books!

Queen Bee Opening Screen

The Queen Bee is a tale of three brothers, princes actually, who couldn’t be more different. The youngest and simplest of the bunch sets out in search of his much more adventurous brothers.

His brothers find him something of a nuisance, and simple too! They tease and bully him the whole journey until they arrive at an enchanted castle that’s been turned to stone.

They are given three challenges to complete to restore the castle to its original beauty, and whoever completes all three tasks will be rewarded with the princess’ hand in marriage. Simpleton finds a way to beat the odds and break the enchantment, living happily ever after.

Features:

  • Performed narration with character voices

Queen Bee 2

My toddler loves stories and The Queen Bee is now one of her favorites. She loves to listen to this one every night before bed and even makes the animal noises that are in the story. She loves to wait to hear the chimes before she turns the page, and that sound brings back so many memories of my childhood when I used to read to read-alongs. I like these types of apps for my iPod Touch because they are educational, in fact my iPod has been taken over by educational apps now and I am just fine with that because I know that my daughter will not only be occupied when I need her to pass the time but she will also be learning. I can’t wait to add more of StoryChimes books to my tech library! I highly recommend them to everyone.
