Wasabi World’s most egg-cellent crime-fighting chickens fly into action in this award-winning animated series from Twentieth Century Fox Home Entertainment!  Full of wacky adventures and martial arts mayhem, “Chop Socky Chooks” Volume One is bursting with thirteen episodes of awesome fun.  Chick P, KO Joe and Chuckie Chan are up to their beaks in bad guys as they patrol the gigantic shopping mall run by uber-evil Dr. Wasabi! Battling virtual villains, karaoke crazies, rogue robots, prehistoric predators and even fast-food fiends, they must use all of their super-spy gadgets, martial-arts skills and incredible ingenuity to keep Wasabi World safe! But with a little luck and lot of team work, these fine-feathered friends will not only save the day – they’ll even teach the crooks that crime doesn’t pay – and that’s no yolk!

My son and tween daughter reviewed this title and they enjoyed it. The 2-disc, 13 episode DVDs were watched over a three day period, where my kids were cracking up and enjoying the show. I was enjoying the fact that they were actually not fighting but enjoying some quality time just the two of them without my toddler being in the mix. I sat down to watch two episodes with them and found myself laughing as well. So we all give it two thumbs up and say its a worthy title to add to your DVD collection!

Total Drama Island.  This first ever animated reality competition series follows 22 teens as they spend a chaotic, drama-filled summer “roughing it” at Camp Wawanakwa — the oldest, moldiest, most run-down, bug-infested summer camp in Northern Ontario — and compete against one another in highly intensive weekly challenges that test strength, endurance, and personality. In the end, only one can win the ultimate $100,000 – the rest walk the dreaded Dock of Shame!

The Total Drama Island DVD contains all 27 episodes (totaling nearly 600 minutes of non-stop reality action), and features bonus cast interviews. One of the top-rated series on Cartoon Network, Total Drama Island debuted in June 2008 and served as anchor to the network’s HAR HAR THARSDAYS (Thursdays, 7-10 p.m. ET/PT) comedy line-up, shattering ratings records throughout its run. The series’ season finale on December 11, 2008 set all-new audience delivery records for the network, according to Nielsen Media Research, surpassing all broadcast and cable competition as television’s #1 prime time performance of the day among kids 2-11, kids 6-11 and tweens 9-14, as well as boys 2-11, boys 6-11 and boys 9-14.

Total Drama Island was a must see for my tween and teen. We would watch it every Thursday together and it was a great show. I am so happy that I got the chance to review it because now we can watch it whenever we want. And I will recommend this show for those with older kids who can enjoy humor even when its a little wry at times.

Now in its fifth year, this 40-city tour is designed to motivate, energize and educate kids ages 6-14 about healthy living choices by using the power of Cartoon Network’s shows, characters and brands.

The tour will run all summer-long and feature interactive areas designed around select Cartoon Network series as well as activity areas for kids, including: the Crayola “Everything Imaginable” tent featuring three different Crayola activity stations; an FDA (Food and Drug Administration) area where kids will toss over-sized “nutrition label” dice and compare the two face-up labels for a prize, while learning to understand the nutrition facts label on food packaging more effectively; and a Subway section where kids will have the opportunity to compete on stationary bikes with a video game to beat a countdown clock.
