Firefighter Patrick Sullivan (Jeffrey Dean Morgan) finds his life turned upside-down when his fiancée suddenly calls off their pending nuptials per the recommendation of radio love guru Dr. Emma Lloyd (Uma Thurman). Colin Firth is a favorite actor of mine and I enjoyed him in this movie.I don’t normally watch Uma Thurman movies but she did a good job in this movie. I was left wishing there was a tad bit more chemistry between her and both her suitors but I did enjoy everyone’s performance. A great movie night movie for me, I curled up on the couch with a big bowl of popcorn and enjoyed quiet time and this movie!

This is my favorite story of all time and I just can’t get enough of watching this movie. Brings tears to my eyes even after the 20th time watching it!  The all star cast of Then She Found Me put on amazing performances in this movie. I have not been on a roller coaster of emotions in a long time watching a movie but this one has them all. I laughed, I was shocked, I cried. It is the best movie I have watched in a long while.

But that isn’t too shocking seeing as I have been a Helen Hunt fan since way back and who doesn’t like Bette Midler. In Helen’s directorial debut she hit the nail on the head in both directing and in her role as schoolteacher April Epner who is on a quest to find personal fulfillment. Bette Midler’s portrayal as April’s birth mother comes at a turning point in April’s life and only complicates things.

I don’t want to give away too much. You should definitly put this movie at the top of your “Must Watch” list. There are many lessons in this movie that just goes to show that life can change in a heartbeat.
