I recently had the opportunity to review the Do-N-Slide. Now for  my daughter this would have worked great to teach her of all the things she should be doing throughout the day. Kind of like having our chore chart around. Now if you caught me saying “would have worked” it’s because I didn’t review this product with my daughter. I gave it to my sister to see if it would help with my autistic Nephew. Any little bit of help that I can give her in helping him achieve things people have said he wouldn’t achieve is a huge plus for him.

The Do-N-Slide has helped him learn how to do some things that get him on a schedule like, go to the bathroom, put on clean underwear, brush his teeth and make his bed. All things he wasn’t doing on his own before getting this product. Sure he was doing them if his mother told him and took him to do them but now he goes to the board and does one thing and then tells my sister what the next thing on his board is that he has to do. Because he never knew that before and now by seeing it himself he manages to remember what it is he has to do. And you should see how excited he gets when he gets to move the picture from To Do to All Done, his smile is priceless!

We are both impressed at how this little thing we take for granted has helped him so much. And every time I see him accomplish something and see how proud of him my sister gets it brings tears to my eyes. I highly recommend the Do-N-Slide  to everyone and I will be sure to talk it up at the upcoming Autism walk I will be participating in next month.
