Trackball World Review And Giveaway

TrackballWorld is an online store dedicated to all things trackball. OK, We’ll admit it up front: we never liked mice. They’re small, they have cords that are always getting tangled up, they need regular cleaning and, worst of all (at least for those of us whose desks are always piled high with papers and crowded with coffee cups, staplers, phones, post it notes and other junk) they require about a square foot of uncluttered prime desk real estate right next to the keyboard!
Since all personal computers include a mouse these days many users have never even heard of a trackball. This is unfortunate because there is a lot of research that indicates the trackball is at least an equal – and in many cases superior – pointing device. The mouse included with most PCs these days is the lowest cost possible, so sooner or later most PC owners are going to end up shopping for a replacement and, when that happens, instead of just buying another mouse we want you to consider buying one of our trackballs.
Recently I was able to try out the Kensington Orbit Optical Trackball, and while at first it took some getting used to I am enjoying using it. The fact that it hardly takes a flutter from my fingertips to move the ball is a huge plus. Don’t you just hate it when you run your mouse into the last little corner of your mouse pad and then you have to pick it up and reposition it so it will work right. I hope I am not the only one that happens to. But with a trackball that doesn’t happen and that makes me a happy camper!

This giveaway will run through midnight on March 9, with winner being announced the morning of March 10. Winner will be chosen using Random.org from all valid entries and notified via email. Winner will have 48 hours to contact me before another winner is chosen. Giveaway is open to U.S. residents only.
I used a trackball at work for almost 23 years. You’re right that they are so much easier and more efficient than a mouse! I like the PC-TRAC 1550 Trackball, PS/2-USB.

I used to have a Logitech Trackman Wheel, PS/2-USB and LOVED it. Sadly, when I quit my job they wouldn’t let me take it with me

I have actually never used a trackball mouse, but the one I really liked was the ITAC Evolution MouseTRAK Trackbal. These seem pretty cool. I wonder if it would be hard to get used to after using a regular mouse for so long…
