Their Mission

We strive to produce the best early learning system available today by:

  • Setting the highest standards for early childhood learning
  • Producing the best tools for early childhood learning
  • Creating a positive shared experience for you and your child
  • Supporting advances in early childhood learning research

After recently reviewing the True Learning products I have to recommend them to my readers. The True Learning Letters A to Z App for the iPod Touch and the iPhone is awesome. My 20 month old loves this program. Seeing as she constantly grabs at my iPod when we are out I figured I would put something on it that she can actually learn from. Letters A to Z is perfect!

About Letters A to Z

Letters A to Z is a captivating set of animated flashcards designed to help toddlers and preschoolers learn the letters of the English alphabet in a fun and engaging way. Each flashcard contains adorable characters and creatures that come to life in beautifully illustrated scenes accompanied by entertaining sound effects.

Letter A Letter B Letter C

Letters A to Z is simple, intuitive and easy to use. Large buttons and clickable areas make it perfect for the fine motor skills of young children.

  • Intuitively scroll to the next letter with a flick of the finger.
  • Tap the large letter to hear the name of the letter.
  • Tap the object to play a fun animation and hear the phonetic sound as part of a word.

My daughter gets such a kick out of these flashcards, and they have taught her so much already in the short time I have been using them. At 20 months she can get all the way to the recognizing and saying the letters to the letter L then she gets a little confused. But I am so proud of her and how hard I can see her trying.

And to supplement her learning I use the Early Learning Curriculum for pre-schoolers. This CD-Rom is jam packed full of great tools to help your child learn. True Learning combines the best aspects of traditional paper and pencil workbooks with the convenience and flexibility of printing-on-demand. Access the award-winning curriculum on CD-ROM — over 3,000 printable worksheets covering 6 core subjects — and print the pages your preschooler needs.

I really recommend these products if you are looking to jump start your childs learning. My daughter is having so much fun with them and I love seeing her explore new ways to learn, and her laughter at the worm that pops up out of the apple on the iPod App is an added bonus! And guess what?  The great people over at True Learning have offered me the opportunity to give away to one lucky Dirty Shirt winner a redemption code for the iPod Touch or iPhone app Letters A to Z and a CD-Rom full of wonderful worksheets. See rules below to enter.
