Discover the power of a simple gift!
Laura Carrot’s Christmas stocking might be empty this year because her dad is in danger of losing his job. While Larry thinks a letter to the North Pole should fix the problem, Bob knows what will really help…and tells the story of a little boy named Nicholas who made a discovery in Bethlehem that changed Christmas forever. But what did Nick learn and how can it possibly help Laura and her family? Find out as the Veggies discover the true joy of giving to others – at Christmas time and throughout the year!

Nothing makes me happier than teaching my children that giving is better than receiving, at Christmas time and all year long! Anytime there is a show that they can watch to strengthen that lesson I have them watch it. Veggie Tales is very high on that list as they are always teaching very important lessons and my kids love them. In an ongoing tradition at Christmas time I love reminding them that it’s not all about what you get, a fact that as kids they sometimes forget.
Saint Nicholas is a great family show to watch and for me and my family the Veggie Tales are fun to watch and definitely strong at teaching children life’s little lessons. I highly recommend adding this DVD to your family’s collection today.
And here’s another great reason, in the spirit of the giving holiday, to get Saint Nicholas today. If you purchase the Saint Nicholas DVD you will receive a FREE VeggieTales DVD to give to a friend in need! Through this offer inside the DVD, consumers can log onto a special website and select the free VeggieTales DVD they would like to send to a friend with only $2.99 shipping and handling.
Big Idea partners with Operation Christmas Child
‘Tis better to give than receive! This fall, Big Idea has teamed up with Operation Christmas Child, a project of international Christian relief organization Samaritan’s Purse, to help collect gifts for needy children throughout the world. More than 65,000 churches across the country will hold shoe-box gift collection events. Church leaders have the opportunity to hold a screening of Saint Nicholas where kids and families will be encouraged to “share the spirit of giving” by donating shoe-box gifts.
This post was written for Family Review Network as part of a program for Big Idea, who supplied the DVD for review.

I would like to order a premiere kit that includes the Saint Nicholas DVD, event guide, two large event posters, etc. Do you know were I can get it?
