Why Dragonfly? Review And Giveaway

What if you met a talking dragonfly on your playground? And what if you could actually fly with him? When Ryan & Emily wonder, “Is there something wrong with the moon?” they never expect an answer like this! In a flash, their new friend Archimedes whisks them away on a magical adventure to talk with scientists at the Space Science Institute and the Denver Museum of Nature & Science who c help them with their quest.
I have to say that I enjoyed re-learning things from this DVD. The answer to the question “Is there something wrong with the moon?” is answered in a very original, creative way and my children and I really enjoyed this show. My toddler even loved the dragonfly Archimedes and pointed and laughed every time he was on the screen. The animation with him is also amazing and he was an enjoyable character to watch. From a homeschooler point of view, I really think the Why Dragonfly? DVD is a good way to teach your children about the moon and why it looks and acts the way it does. It is a fun way to learn! And they even have an activity guide to help you out here. This DVD has also won the iParenting Media Award and the Parents’ Choice Approved Award. I really hope to see more of these types of DVDs from the Why Dragonfly? crew.

This would be for my kids! We also homeschool, and the moon was one of the first lessons! This would be a great review for them, and a good lesson tool for my youngest when we do school with him!
